I travelled with my parents and sister Carol on this line on the 1950's when we lived in Deanfield Place in Bo'ness. This brings back happy memories. Thank you to everyone involved in reopening the line . If you make another video please put more voices. It would be lovely to hear local people speaking. Well done everyone. Great example of the spirit of Bo'nessians and all railway enthusiasts. No doubt a lot of hard work.
Enjoy your vids. Always wondered where the single track from Bo’ness went, now I know. Thanks. Thanks for providing these vids to entertain me throughout another local lockdown in Wales. Good to see what’s happening at the other end of the country. Slowly working my way through your catalogue. Have been for a while. Thanks again, keep safe. Bob MacDonald.
Fabulous video,Lovely Carriages thought at least a steam loco would pull these or a classic Diesel loco ,Nothing against the next Gen of locomotives but wow two Class 66s ,Some sound they make , last time I saw a locomotive checking out near the Edinburgh Glasgow line was on Saturday 28 of May when Bo'ness hosted a Summer Diesel Gala day from Friday to Sunday ,It was a Colas Class 70 Diesel freight locomotive,A couple of Powerful beasts visitors great to see the Railfreight one also for Saturday and Sunday when that left about 5ish ,A Great day out and worth it also for my Two day Rover Tickets .
I enjoyed your video, not just for the Royal Scotsman, but also seeing the line itself (looks great). As a retired power station engineer, I feel a little sad to see any power station being demolished, but thanks for including the clip of Longannet.
Thanks again for all your efforts, at least you had reasonable weather for filming! Please carry on the good work of bringing the daily life of the B&K to us all. Regards!
You need a can of Tea on that bloody stove. Used to drive my dad mad,, rattling away all bloody day ... Love the Sulzer,,, , hate 66s Thanks for posting.
What was the point of this trip? No passengers when there some decent coaches. Not usual sprinter you see on this line. speed appeared very slow from Bo’ness on first part of run.
Great video many thanks…Peter Western Australia
You're welcome Joshua

Wouldn't it be great being able to go under the main line upto Whitecross over the old viaduct and upto Greengairs

Hi! Just a quick note to say how much I appreciate all your videos. One day I will find the time to visit. Until then - keep posting!

HI its a shame boness cant put back them side line and points going half way to manuel platform ,the sidings track just left there
I used to tie the loco's on&off at Craigentinny.
Really interesting to get a view of Grangemouth for a change...most videos focus on the track!
Looks great, but I bet it is bloody cold in the winter!
Is it connected to the mainline? How did they get those coaches there?
What’s the plan for the ex power station site?

ECS probably?
speed limit for the whole line is 25mph, dunnno about the rest though
it's not an operating transportation line like it used to be
That 66 sounds epic, EMD POWA!
Someone needs to sort out those rattles in the cab, it’s enough to drive ya mad 🥴
Lovely coaches, shame about the two ugly things pulling them.
Needs ' Duchess of Sutherland' providing the motive power
When I was a signalman I put the dutchess on the down fast at Kirkham North Junction on the way to Blackpool it flew through like a dragon
Yes a wash job on all loco's except steam seems to be in order here in the states. Most look like the last time they were clean is when the were new:)
