Question, do the interior lights turn on with entry and or exit in the Sportage? If so, where is that setting? I just took delivery on a X-Pro Prestige and haven’t found where to activate that feature. Love the informative videos.

Your a natural with a bright future, hopefully in automotive journalism. This presentation will likely get a family member to buy the X-Line Sportage, so you did more than just do a good job... you made a sale... in Calgary, but still, good for Kia and that is good for you and your dealership. I've watched few of these. Very in depth, especially the seating adjustments. Only thing missing that should be there in there in my opinion is having her to demonstrate the brake and gas pedals at a comfortable seating position.

Not sure if different in CAN vs. USA. I just got the X-line in wolf gray and black interior but I def noticed that interior you've mentioned when doing my build.

Hey in this trim level where is the auto dim for the cluster lights. In the EX the feature is in the center screen options and appears to control the lighting for both the center screen and the instrument cluster. In the x line this toggle still exists in the center screen options but appears to only control the center screen lighting. The +/- switch to the left does control the illumination, but certainly there must be a way to have this occur automatically at night when the lights come on. What am I missing? Thanks.

The x line is a class lower than the ex. From what I can tell the ex.. has a solid long touch screen and the temperature gouges are all touch screen toggle switches. And that's about it ...for 2k more you can get the ex premium which has push button to open the rear tail and seat memory
@@paintwesley No, I just came from the Kia dealer. In the US the X Line is definitely an upgrade from the EX. For example, you can't get a panoramic sunroof with the EX. You have to go up to X Line or above to get that package. So it goes LX, EX, X line, SX. There are also other further up grades such as X line Pro, SX Prestige, etc.....but not sure of the order after the SX. I'm either getting the X Line or SX.😊

James, The EX offers these upgrades compared to the X-line: LED fog lights, Panoramic sunroof, solar glass, leather (synthetic) seats, dual zone climate, smart (adaptive) cruise control, 12.3'' vs 8'' multimedia, Kia connect, rain sensing wipers, and a more advanced forward collision-avoidance assist. All of that for an additional 1700 CAD, so I believe that the EX trim is the best trim considering the price.

Hi Stephen, we haven’t received the offical timeline from Kia Canada yet. We do know that they are limiting production of the Sportage HEV, PHEV, and X-Line/X-Line Limited trims.
Different countries spec vehicles differently and can have different features. In the US, there are 7 trim lines for the 23 Sportage and the X-Line is 3rd highest. In Canada, there are 5 trim lines (6 if you count the difference from LX FWD and LX AWD) and the X-Line is mid tier.
