I just purchased a Schecter Sun Valley Shredder Seafoam Green with the Tele body style . I hadnt heard of these EMG'S before but have always been a fan of EMG 81's and this Guitar with these pups is a BEAST responsive to hard or soft picking my Legato was instantly better just really Impressed and I haven't even raised them to the heights I prefer so its gonna get even better !! Thanks for the Demo !!

Great playing. I was thinking about getting a set of these for a explorer guitar i just bought. I am a huge fan of the EMG 81. It's mainly what I use in all my guitars. Is there a huge difference between this bridge pickup and the 81? Thanks! Have a great day. Cheers!
Hi Andrej. Excelent performance! I realize there is a diference between the pickups. The 81/85 sounded "heavier", I think they sounde better in this song. But both were great! Which do you preffer? In which kind of situation would you prefer one over the other?
I feel like 81 has more treble frequencies, while 70 is more meaty and bassy. IMO 70 has a better tone, not clipping with attack on higher strings, but that's just my preference.
You have the arched top, but it probably has the counter sunk knobs that are inset into the top, yes? The long shaft pots are to reach all the way through a carved arch top. You may want to just check and be sure, but probably the short.
Do you know if these sets have the same connectors on the Pickups? Meaning can I just swap the Pickups without changing the pots or soldering anything?

Here's the comparison of nice metal tone
Thanks, swapped out my 81/60 to these in my EC 1000 Fantastic sounding what a difference!
I'm glad if I helped.

Hi, thanks for the kind words. There is quite a difference between the two pickups (81 and Hot 70's bridge). Try it if you have the chance.
DUDE. The riff at 1:31 is FUCKING BAD ASS MOTHER FUCKERS.
Thanx! Check the song here : ruclips.net/video/ieUkDBDfEqY/видео.html

I have swiched from 81/85 to Hot 70 for good. It's love at first sight.

The riff in 2:00 sound very alexi laiho style
Thanx man!
anyone know if an esp mh1000 would use the short shaft (10 mm) or the long shaft (19 mm) variation?
I think it's short but it's best to see what's in your guitar.

Yes, you just plug in and you're done.
What is that TUNING please??

Did you need to switch pots if you have 81/85 emg's then switch to the 70's or is it all the same resistances for all Emg's?
Hi, same pots. No need to change.
