- In this video, I continued our journey on the lovely island of Quinoa and played my third month in Animal Crossing New Horizons. My goals were to collect items for our future building projects, decorate the paths, and get another new (and hopefully good) villager to move to our island. A very cheeky episode (if you know what I mean), you won't wanna miss it. I hope you enjoy 🏝

LOL, she IS the higher being, she doesn't care! The thing that creeped me out about that dialogue before I saw the twist on my own game was *oh god Zucker knows*.

The gyroids can also be displayed on the walls so you can fit more in the gyro if room! Also if you are not in the main room of your house when a villager comes over they’ll ask if they can come in and if you don’t go to the main room then they’ll think you’re not home and leave. Thought those might be helpful to know!:)
Also! If they catch you in the main room, talk to them 4 times and wait then they’ll leave on their own. It may take a minute or 3 (longer if you let them sit or spam them in they entrance) but they will always leave!
Or maybe just leave then they will ask if your going then they go

Charlie: when villagers visit your house you need to walk towards the door, the villager will say “heading out? Yeah I should probably head out too” and will leave your house so you can continue working :)

I think a lot of people have issues with villagers visiting because of how gutted it is. They used to bring meaningful gifts and actually toured the house with you. The new visiting system also happens way more
I’ve had multiple villagers ask to come over to my house to get inspiration for interior design ideas and they toured my entire home with me! So that feature is still there :)

If you change your outfit/look in the mirror or leave then they will be gone!
Most of mine ask to see the rooms at least once.
can i just say real quick i really appreciate how you put captions on all your videos it's really great and makes them very accessible for so many people. i struggle with audio processing as part of being neurodivergent and often say that i hear with my eyes, and you'd be surprised how uncommon good captions are on youtube. really appreciate it, thank you charlie
Yes, it is so appreciated!!!💜💜💜 I'm the same way and even refer to it the same way! To add to the struggles, I have debilitating migraines, so when I really want to watch something, but there are no subtitles, I find that I keep turning the sound higher and lower, over and over again, or I'll have turned it up beyond comfort, then end up burrowing down in my pillow and blankets, trying to find a compromise. Though it annoys my siblings, I've been watching with subtitles for probably most of the time I've had a TV, computer, and/or tablet.

My favourite way to make villagers leave, having a roach in your house. They walk in, see the little guy scuttling around & get totally grossed out. Bob & Gertrude are permanent residents in my Animal Crossing home :)

Hey Charlie just though you should know there will always be 5 villagers you cant find because they are “reserved” to move onto your island/visit the camp site! It can be really frustrating when you are looking for your dreamies as they might be in that list it happened to me with Freya.
So, I've noticed if you're in another room you can ignore the villagers and they'll go away. Also, I bought a closet for the outside that connects to your storage in the house so you don't have to go inside all the time. Hope this helps! Good luck.

If you try to leave the house while a villager is in it they'll leave, I think you can also talk to them a lot and they'll offer to leave (maybe idk)
Edit: totally forgot to say this but I love your acnh videos :D
When villagers visit you can walk out of the house like you are about to leave and the villager will leave.

Just a tip, you should put out the fires of the villagers you don’t want! I mean there are fires on islands where you go hunting for villagers, you just put the fire out and there’s a chance you will not ever see them!
I only saw your first month video today, binged it and number 2!! So happy this one has just dropped! I have recently got back into my ACNH island and this is bringing me so much happiness to watch! x

There's two ways I use to get the villager out of my house. 1. is to walk into a different room. Sometimes they leave sometimes they don't. 2. is I walk to door like i'm about to leave. The villager will think you're leaving and leave too.
If you don't go into a room then villagers won't try to come in. So if you need something from your inventory just open it as soon as you enter the house.
Also gyroids can go on walls so that room is not full yet.
So, when your villagers come for a house visit, you can leave through the main door to get them to leave too!
Also, I noticed your vegetables have one crop apiece. If you water them each day, you can get up to three per plant!
Oh, and those neon bushes are hydrangeas! They've been my favorites since New Leaf, but I can understand how they could be hit-or-miss.

If you go to islands from nuts, if you shake trees with no fruit you can get an item. It’s one per item and I recommend holding a net when you do so you don’t get stung by wasps
I know a way how to stop them coming into your house once they come in then go right to your storage stay there just for like 10 seconds get out and then They’ll leave and I love your videos 💕💕💕💕

The little yellow shining thing im the ground is actually bells that u can dig up and hav. Also, if ur villager comes into ur house, u can just try to walk out of ur house and the villagers then leave (btw I hav Bill too! 😊)
Some tips for you: if you want a village to leave your house, you can just exit and they’ll feel forced to leave. If a villager enters your house and you talk to them a couple of times they will offer you to play a game, if u win you get cool prices !!

charlie, just leave the house and the islander will leave. you could also hide in another room when you first enter your house, because (at least in my experience), the villagers only show up after you close your menu/inventory twice.
I have problems with flowers taking over as well and i found out you can use clear paths to keep them in a certain areas! Its really useful and is great for things like flower gardens! :)

Hey Charlie, if you don’t want villagers come in your house listen to this tip! As you enter your house quickly go into a room ( other than the main one ) . Then, if someone wants to come into your house. !LISTEN! Do not. Go into. The main room. If you do not go in the main room they will be convinced nobody is home and leave. If you do go in the main room you will “answer the door” and let them into your house!

Fun fact for a villager hunt, if you don't bring a ladder then you ONLY get single - level islands, which really help if you want to save some time!

I have a tip for villagers to leave as they come in to visit you
Going into a different room away from the door, wait there for a while until they say for example “i guess they aren’t home” or something like that and they left.
Thats what i do when my villagers visit and i dont want them to

if you don't want villagers in your house, then once they come in quickly walk out the door - they will say "oh heading out? me too!" and then they will leave but you actually stay in the house. Hope that makes sense and helps!

Hey there! I have a small tip for villagers entering your house!! If you just do everything outside of the main room, they enter but if you ignore them they will leave! Hope this helps!!

Here’s a little tip time traveling a little to get some cockroaches when villagers come in and see it they will get scared and leave
I have a way to help with the random visits when you're working in the house. When you enter, immediately run to an inner room. The word bubbles pop up but the resident will go away without entering long as you stop for a moment and let the bubbles go by. Then you can continue with your work. It only doesn't work when you're working on the front room. I love your channel and videos and am happy I can help you in return. 😊
Charlie this animal crossing month was probably my favourite. But if you want your villagers to leave your house just leave your house and they’ll say something like this ‘Oh your heading out? I guess I’ll leave then as well!’ Then they leave but ur still in your house. HAPPINESS
Tip: if u want villagers to leave walk to the door and press A they immediately leave because they think that if u walk away you r bored

Actually, Tom Nook makes a TON of sense! It's simple indentured servitude: you entice people to your remote colony, give them a house, and make them work for you until they "pay it off" (though you always either don't pay them enough to or incentivize them to indebt themselves to you more). He's definitely selling those pieces of furniture, bugs, and fish along for a profit while putting very little down himself. How much do you think that house REALLY cost to build?
What I'm saying is that Sherb's first thought shouldn't have been "video game", it should've been "British colony".
He knows you won't leave because your entire life is sunk into that island. That's why there's no interest on the loan. You're going to pay it off eventually.

Whenever they knock, don’t move or press any buttons. I tried and they just thought no one was home and left! Learned that tip from LexPlay lol
Nothing’s better than just laying down, eating a whole pack of skittles and just watching Charlie play animal crossing. It’s also the worst cause I’m jealous that she has Sherb, my second favourite villager. If you give me Sherb, I’ll give you Lucky (who is on my island)

when you went villager hunting you found three of my current villagers, Bones, Blaire, and Ellie. Plus i also have Eloise on my island
So to not have villagers ho into your home you can't just stand in the main room doing nothing that's why it starts happing when you get in a new room so go upstairs down stairs the room in the back the room off to the side or the other room off to the side I hope this helps!
I have started avoiding my house at all- I have multiple storage sheds, "closet" items, a DIY workbench, and an outdoor kitchen scattered around my island so I don't have to go in there and risk a visitor anymore.

Tip, if a villager comes into your house the just try to leave your home then the villager will leave, and if ur in another room and they try to come in just don’t go to the main room.
Yes, there is a way to keep your villagers out:) if you have roaches in your house they wont come in!
If you didn’t play for a long time cockroaches will appear which you normally just step on. But if you let them live, when a villager visits they instantly go away
If you’re in another room (not the entrance) and you don’t leave that room when the villagers come to the door they’ll think no one is home and leave, And you can also leave out of your house and that’ll make them leave
How to make villagers leave;): 1:save game 2:ago to settings 3:ago all the way down 4:change date 5:u will have cockroaches in ur house and if they see it they will run awayXD -hope this helps-

Hey Charlie I am the same way I hate when villagers visit my home so what I do is I mainly stay out of the first room that is what you walk into when you enter your house and when a villager knocks don’t go into the main room and just ignore the knocking and they will leave pretty soon and won’t come in

Very cute video. I love the breakdown of the days and what is accomplished. Nice to see someone else who recognizes the greatness of Spaghetti Marinara. I love seeing how people play through Animal Crossing since I have been a fan since the GameCube days. Interesting ideas on how to decorate as well. I chose to mainly stick with the natural island paradise I found at the start. Pretty much only the southern half of this island is developed while the north is still relatively wild. I did do a project to make it look like ruins had been excavated, drawing inspiration from Breath of the Wild.
Also Wolfgang is a favorite resident of mine as well. It's fun giving him old man phrases too. Like now he always says, "I'm cold." as a greeting.
Fun fact: that blue squirrel you encountered in your hunt for lucky, her name is ione and she GLOWS IN THE DARK
Go into build mode ,a different room or just ignore them and they eventually give up an leave when unwanted islanders come to your house. Idk if this works for everyone but it seems to work for me 😊
we must send Sherb to the high council, he knows way too much. We shall make him one of us, as players we are apart of the high council but I feel like because Sherb knows way too much we must appoint him a special status, "the sweet boi" is my pitch for the name

he was one of my first villagers and he’s still on my island
I just invited faith to my island, and I actually really like her. Also, like less than a hour ago, I went into my house to get a wet suit, and Gladys came in. But she yelled "Cokroach!" Because there was a cokroach I'm my house, and Gladys immediately left.
Tip: if you have cockroaches in your room and your villagers see it, they will get out instantly.
hearing charlie calling louie donkey kong has made me crack up whenever i see him since he's one of the villagers i got when i was starting out omg

If u want to not let the villagers to come to ur house go into a diffrent room, turn off the lights and stay still then they’ll leave. Also love the tiny hat.
tip: if you don’t want villagers visiting all the time you can run into a different room, besides the main front room, when they knock. they will eventually go away because they think no one is home.
Tip: when villagers go in your home head to the exit then they will leave and you'll still be in your house!
if you want to make villagers leave your house, you have to leave, and then they will also leave, then you can go back in, villager free!
right after a villager comes in, head out the front door. the villager will leave, but you'll remain in the house. then you can do whatever you want without fear of another villager breaking and entering.
If villagers visit and you don’t wanna spend time with them just walk towards your door. They’ll leave and then you can leave

Found you on my recommended and I’m glad I did, I was thinking of getting my first switch and one of the games I wanted to give a try was animal crossing. Seeing you play and seeing all the creativity options was amusing.
