Ralph Lauren's Alice Delahunt on LGBTQ+ Media Representation and Same-Sex Marriage in Ireland

Growing up in Ireland, Alice Delahunt didn’t see people of the same-sex holding hands or being honest about themselves in public. Now, as chief digital of Ralph Lauren, she has the ability to make sure diversity is represented in media that is projected around the world. Thanks in part to that kind of representation increasing acceptance of LGBTQ+ people, Delahunt notes the transformation of Ireland, which legalized same-sex marriage in 2015 and now has an openly gay taoiseach (prime minister).
