It's not the original video. But definitely the one that goes best with it. It's actually footage from a short film made by someone else. A tool fan was clever enough to put it with this song....and it's perfect.

It is hard to find the words to describe this piece of art. That last image of us having killed god and fight over dead land while our species dries up like a stain is some heavy thought material. Tool is incredible
Speaking of _words,_ you gotta sec? Would you _pretty please_ help me out? You see, I'm a rather new TOOL fan that _needs_ another TOOL fans' opinion, input &/or suggestion. The current lyrics that pop up from a Google Search, make one wonder, did they even _listen_ to the actual song _before_ they wrote those lyrics of theirs? Last I checked, Maynard is a great genius of poetry, he not only didn't say _those_ words, he'd be offended if maybe we all _thought_ that he did! 😂😂😂😂 (I know, no real surprise there. Maynard's lyrics are never "basic". Shame on you "Musixmatch"!)
Are these lyrics here at least _closer_ to what Maynard's saying at the good n' heavy but, harder to hear part? (Well, at least in _this_ version of the song. I know there are others like what he does live but, I'm just trying to stick to the most commonly known version? Is the actual 2006 CD version different, do you know?)

Exactly, the point of the song is that mankind thinks he's right in two which is analogous to Duality... But ultimately, all is one. God is infinite, and we are not separate . It's only an illusion of Duality perpetuated by our dualistic Western culture and our dualistic law of excluded middle logic that we follow. I have a tick tock page with the same name describing more of this in detail if you're interested.

Tool is definitely incredible but they didnt make this video, lol. The video is for something else entirely, someone just edited it to the song, thats why the original post of the same video was taken down.

I was watching headbangers ball with my dad when I was 12 years old after liquid television and th video for sober came on. My lil 12 year old mind couldn't grasp this sounds I was hearing. I was really sad when this disappeared. Not sure if it was the animator or tool's record company that pulled the original but I think this mashup is art in its own right and I never would have seen the original animation if I didn't see it here first.

The takent lays in the fact the Tabla part is so good that it is not distinguishable from real eastern Tabla, while they did it with western instruments. Amazing.
