Literally this whole soundtrack mashup is absolutely amazing! I’d have to say my favorite part is the end for sure when you hear the Halo 2 guitar remix come in and then you got the Halo 5 soundtrack still going along with it. Phenomenal!

ODST was a more intimate story about people who in any other Halo game would have been nameless npc’s that die with in a few seconds of a level start. The jazzyness fits it I think.

mr. yeast halo combat evolved had the best campaign, halo 2 wins in multiplayer and music though. If you are wondering why CE wins campaign, it’s just the fact that it can stand on its own while having the most non linear campaign out of any halo game (and I don’t mean in its story telling, just how you can approach each mission to the point you can play every mission differently) as well as mixing badass moments with moments of comedy and seriousness, having one of the best plot twists in gaming history, having pseudo-horror elements and setting the groundwork for the next halo campaigns and console FPS games as a whole, I’m just sad it still hasn’t gotten the Halo 2 anniversary treatment and gets a complete overhaul in graphical quality, while also keeping the philosophy in the mechanics that Bungie originally wanted in which had the balance of campaign and multiplayer completely different. Also adding useable energy swords, elites in multiplayer and infected wouldn’t hurt.

@@privategoose7190 The entire point of the mission "Lone Wolf" was the *death* of Noble Six, as there is no evidence of their survival, and we clearly see them pinned down and surrounded by several high ranking elites, and just because we don't see the killing blow does not mean that it didn't happen. Halsey's dialogue during the final cutscene also heavily implies that Noble Six died on Reach.

I never played Halo. However, the music enthralls me. Sometimes I'll pull together a list of the Halo songs that are are here on RUclips and simply listen. Funny as it may sound, it helps calm me down when things get freaky. I'm 72 and Halo music has been my friend for quite a few years now.
You know, I actually find that quite remarkable that someone unfamiliar with the games even has had so much history with simply it's music. If there's one thing this franchise does right, it's the music. I'm glad it's helped calm you over the years.
If you ever do want to play through Halo with someone, I'd gladly take you through all the games. I've been playing Halo since I was 3 (I'm now 24) they've been with me all my life and it would be an honour to show you the games 😊

Let's be honest, Halo can never die for 5 true reasons. 1.) It was the First FPS after all the Doom Clones to introduce the limit of carrying only two weapons into a modern platform. 2.) It started creating it's own lore during it's release and is for some reason considered the 'Star Wars of videgames' by some players and gives us a good story with it. 3.) Halo 2 became the most Hyped game before COD release a game and completely dominated the box office (Even if the legendary players raged about the Jackal snipers) and killed the game that said it would kill Halo(Haze). 4.) The Soundtrack is probably the most iconic thing of the Halo games seeing as most of the music would make you feel in a certain emotion the music was written with. 5.) Master Chief still needs to finish the fight. Bonus.) Was the first game to get a controversy about the design choice of the MA5 seeing as the F2000 showed up almost looking exactly like the MA5

mr. yeast halo combat evolved had the best campaign, halo 2 wins in multiplayer and music though.
If you are wondering why CE wins campaign, it’s just the fact that it can stand on its own while having the most non linear campaign out of any halo game (and I don’t mean in its story telling, just how you can approach each mission to the point you can play every mission differently) as well as mixing badass moments with moments of comedy and seriousness, having one of the best plot twists in gaming history, having pseudo-horror elements and setting the groundwork for the next halo campaigns and console FPS games as a whole, I’m just sad it still hasn’t gotten the Halo 2 anniversary treatment and gets a complete overhaul in graphical quality, while also keeping the philosophy in the mechanics that Bungie originally wanted in which had the balance of campaign and multiplayer completely different. Also adding useable energy swords, elites in multiplayer and infected wouldn’t hurt.

@@privategoose7190 The entire point of the mission "Lone Wolf" was the *death* of Noble Six, as there is no evidence of their survival, and we clearly see them pinned down and surrounded by several high ranking elites, and just because we don't see the killing blow does not mean that it didn't happen. Halsey's dialogue during the final cutscene also heavily implies that Noble Six died on Reach.

I never played Halo. However, the music enthralls me. Sometimes I'll pull together a list of the Halo songs that are are here on RUclips and simply listen. Funny as it may sound, it helps calm me down when things get freaky. I'm 72 and Halo music has been my friend for quite a few years now.
You know, I actually find that quite remarkable that someone unfamiliar with the games even has had so much history with simply it's music. If there's one thing this franchise does right, it's the music. I'm glad it's helped calm you over the years.

Let's be honest, Halo can never die for 5 true reasons.
1.) It was the First FPS after all the Doom Clones to introduce the limit of carrying only two weapons into a modern platform.
2.) It started creating it's own lore during it's release and is for some reason considered the 'Star Wars of videgames' by some players and gives us a good story with it.
3.) Halo 2 became the most Hyped game before COD release a game and completely dominated the box office (Even if the legendary players raged about the Jackal snipers) and killed the game that said it would kill Halo(Haze).
4.) The Soundtrack is probably the most iconic thing of the Halo games seeing as most of the music would make you feel in a certain emotion the music was written with.
5.) Master Chief still needs to finish the fight.
Bonus.) Was the first game to get a controversy about the design choice of the MA5 seeing as the F2000 showed up almost looking exactly like the MA5
