    I was considering the Midpines 4 a few months ago, but now suddenly Amazon has it for $104 USD and I couldn't resist. Ordered it yesterday. At 70 years old, I'm finally getting a tent I don't have to crawl in and out of on my hands and knees! Your review was thorough and informative, much appreciated. Happy camping up there in AB. - Mark in Colorado.

    Another thing, I love that the corner gear pouches do not touch the ground. Keeps the contents dry

    And also this would be the first ever tent experience for us. Would you say this tent makes sense for us - first timers camping ? We have ample hiking experience but never had a tent.

      I like this a lot. Thanks for the great comment and ask. Most of my newer clothing is made by a company called Born Primitive. I did a Video in the fall about some of the gear I purchased. And I have a box sitting upstairs awaiting a ty on video as well but from another company.

    You’ll find the pegs are junk. I’ve had this tent for about 5 years, and it’s never let me down. Use it mainly for motorcycle rally’s. If my grandson goes with me, a second door would have been nice. The brow pole on my tent is very hard to install. The main reason I purchase d this tent, is the available height it offers. Great tent, esp. when you get it on sale

      Thanks Bill Yeah I'm already replacing the pegs just after 1 season.lol. But that is an easy fix. Overall I like this tent as I feel its a great tent for the price.

    • @OutdoorsWithToddP

      If you will be travelling by car/truck etc I suggest something a little more heavy duty such as this..
      www.amazon.ca/dp/B09SHKXD8K?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
      I suggest this because some campgrounds or camping spots the ground is really hard. And if your using your vehicle to get around weight shouldn't matter to much and a heavy duty peg and hammer will work the best.

    • @OutdoorsWithToddP
      @OutdoorsWithToddP  6 месяцев назад +2

      If you are trying to go a little lighter I suggest these..

    Hey there, are your measurements correct? as Atmosphere says it is 8 foot long by 7 foot wide...by 5.3 high...can you please confirm the exact interior measurements, L×W×H in feet?.as everything I've seen online states completely different measurements...like I said, 8.3 feet long by 7.2 feet wide by 5 foot 3 inches high is what Atmosphere and Altitude state.

      @OutdoorsWithToddP  Год назад

      These days it appears that some tent makers are more concerned about weight savings. I personally don't mind the size of these pockets because I usually only toss things like socks, cell phones, lights, bear spray etc etc in them.
      Thanks for the comment. Have a great one.

      @@OutdoorsWithToddP not really that's the excuse it because they need to save money for the cost from china re getting higher and higher so they skimp on material somewhere spin drift snow will get up under those edges of the tent ...thtas another scam they are pushing getting people to believe true 4 season tent can be ultra light. I climbed Denali 10 yrs ago you need a lot of gear for the winter....not winter in california but winter in Alaska or Norway
