Any time we are faced with a situation, we should always remember these questions “what would Jesus do“ “how would He handle the situation”
The lessons from this episode is numerous.
Here is one Scenario:
Baba Gbenro couldn't pray out his son because he was consumed by the predicament and didn't have the right-frame of mind to pray.
But immediately Martins came and prayed for Gbenro, he was delivered.
Lesson learned: it is necessary to have people that can intercede for us when words fail us. People who can pray for us when we can't pray for ourselves.

One key lesson for me: THERE IS SAFETY IN THE COMPANY OF BELIEVERS. If Dele belonged to the “Christianity is between me & God gang”, how would Bro Nicholas & Juwon have discerned that he was “falling” or how would they have been able to stand in the gap for him?
Dear Believer, in redemption, you’ve been saved into a family; THE FAMILY OF GOD. Christianity is communal, and many times, the help that you’re not even aware that you need, lies in the word of God that would be spoken through the mouth of the believers around you.
Please, don’t be a loner, there is safety in the company of believers. I think the same thing pretty much applies to Gbenro as well.

2. When you are with her, do u feel u are standing or falling from Grace? Always make righteous judgment about ur soul.

Temptation has the power of camouflage. It continues to feel right, even defensive against the voice of the spirit of God until the line is crossed. Please, where are those preachers who warn vehemently against the appearance of sin? Where are those true brothers and fathers?

The devil wants us to drown ,wallow and stuck in our regrets and past mistakes but thanks be to Jesus because there no condemnation for those in Christ. The blood of Jesus cleanses our guilt, unrighteousness and condemnations.

I believe Eva is also a soul to be won, just as Juwon was saying. We are told to flee youthful lust, not sinners. The only problem here was Dele trying to ride solo, and not being accountable to his brothers, and following the principles laid down by the wisdom of GOD in scriptures.
But when the said soul is the very trap the devil is using against you my brother, you have to discern it & flee..... Flee from all appearances of evil.
Till when you're converted, you cannot strengthen the brethren. Even Jesus had to turn away from some places that looked trapping. He disappeared. Ah!
It takes a brother like Nicholas who's not falling already to convert Eva if she needs to be. Well, maybe her Mum's health will humble her & bring her near to God.
