As far as mixed media and real cloth on a statue go... This is top notch. I usually hate that. Real cloth always looks awkward and baggy, but this looks fitted properly. Very impressive.
As a MARVEL fan I have to say that I believe any DC fan or general superhero movie fan that enjoyed Heath Ledger's personification of Joker will find this piece phenomenal. Sculpt, paint, mixed media and rooted hair all done beautifully. If the base is the worst part who cares? Awesome piece. GOD Bless you and the X-Fam as always Brother!

if i can recall the joker had almost no makeup on during this scene. Maybe removing a bit of white from his forehead (close to his hair) and ears would make it better

Wow go figure that when they make a nice Heath Joker, they would mess up on the base. I for one love the Heath as the Joker. I do not like to compare the actors because their individual interpretation of the joker is controlled by the Directors. Besides the base, love yhe joker statue. They did a fantastic job. From the realistic hair to the oversized shoes. I think that the only reason why they fall short in this statue being an X, is that they made it a homage to the fallen actor. Don't get me wrong I love Heath and I am sorry that he passed. I just feel if everytime they make a statue of his version of the Joker they do not have to remind us of his tragic passing. I love the statue for what it is a great Joker.
Nice i'll give it a 4 out of 5 because of Heath Ledger's, performance in the film and his timely unfortunate passing that would make this statue a grail to appreciate the arts of both actor and this statue. Also too his clothing which looks remarkable, rooted hair with mixed media clothing looks great which you can't go wrong with and the concept of him sitting there that draws you in by just looking at him as he stares at you with his maleficous smirk on his face remembering him in the movie how the story was told why he's sitting there in the first place. One bad thing would be the bottom base which does look confusing to figure out what they were going for example; the bottom base might be the Gotham City P.D. building or just a random design they decided to make up? Also too what are the letters on each corner on the bottom of the base say? I see a letter M and a letter O. The Batman logo on the top corner of the base looks cool but not liking the triangular shape piece on the bottom corner of the base with title of the Batman movie which kind of takes away the bottom base a bit which is too much, where the Batman logo on the top corner is enough to know what statue it is. The bottom base takes away a point for me which is why rate this statue a 4 out of 5. Wow never thought i'd comment on this statue and rated for what it is in my opinion having said i personally wouldn't care too much about this statue honestly but this in depth review shown me more than what i expected. Cool review Mr. X, and keep up the great work. The thumbnail and the introduction looks creepy but funny didn't know what you were doing with your arms raised but as soon as you flipped the bird i started to laugh lol. If you wore purple sleeves behind that Joker bust i think you would have pulled it off which you did. Cool review.

I don't mind mixed media but I don't like it when the whole character is mixed media and the only polystone is the head, handds, base. reminds me too much of a doll and not an actual statue.
Heath ledger is a fantastic joker and probably the best performance. But this collectable. Holy Heck..... Such a lifelike statue. It is actually in a very nice pose very menacing with the cynical grin. The colours and patterns on his clothing is beautiful. Ok so I feel like an idiot haha I thought his clothes were sculpted nice using of mixed media. The base is abit hit and miss but the wooden flooring is quite nice to look at. Assembly was very easy looking which is always good to see. Oh yeah the shoes coming off is kind of neat feature if done stylisticly. The close ups on this piece just makes me love this so much more so bloody stunning. I agree that the likeness is a little off maybe cause there is alot of lighting on him and usually when we see him he is covered by quite alot of shadow in the movie. But overall this is 100% a 5 this is X-tream as I think as far as all movie statues of jokers I have seen this is the one that has captured the cleanest and best likeness of any movie joker. Plus he is my favourite joker so It could just a personal attachment to the character amazing video Mr.X stay safe and take care.

I love the hair and face. I do see the likeness. I'm not a mixed media fan even though this looks really good. I dont like the fact the figure, the bench and the base are only connected by gravity. It does taking away the base (which I agree does not fit the statue) easier.
I give this statue a 3 Mr. X. Not a big fan of mixed media (makes me feel like I’m playing with my sister’s Barbies 😆). Also looks kinda sketchy to just have the statue sitting freely on the bench there. I would be afraid of it getting knocked over. But if this statue is combined with the Christian Bale Batman standing behind him, the set instantly gets a score of 4 for me! Great review. Thanks for sharing!

Just a thought. Maybe the base is to resemble the skyscraper batman hangs him off in the movie. The scene that gave us the quote we came to remember. And the moment they realised that without each other theres no point to the madness.
I think it looks great. The rooted hair is definitely the way to go. They should have done them all this way and not even have the option for sculpted. I'm not a fan of the base either, but I think if they left the nameplate off and the bat symbol on the corner, it would have helped. My opinion about his shoes 👞 with the way his legs and feet is he would be pushing his toes into this shoes so his heel would push ever so slightly upwards that is as you say an extreme detail of the statue being live. His hair looks fine because he didn't care how it looked in the movie he kept pushing it backwards behind his ears even and if it stuck up or out I think it fits his character he was portraying his way kinda wild. He was to busy having fun to worrying about anything else. IT'S A 5 and more its as good as it gets.
personally id give both joker and batman a 4 even if batman is amazing I still say 4 only because they aren't unique but with them together as the set with the special base I say 5 for sure, excellent piece keep up the awesome work!

Cesar Romero is the best TV/movie Joker. This piece looks more like silent movie star Ben Turpin crossed with Mark Hamill in Knightfall.
