Honestly they all look good but my favorite has to be the JND studios
Its a great piece!!
I am a collector living in Korea. That's why I got jnd studio's first product, Arthur Flex, a few days ago. The product was amazing. It's not just that it's excellent in quality, it's nothing different from the prototype. this is very important. The members of jnd studio are also collectors, so it is their pride to bridge the difference between mass production and prototype. And the head molded out of silicon was really shocking. You must see the real thing, not a photo or video. Personally, I think the queen studio's Joker looks more like the face in the movie. However, if you receive the actual product and display it, the Joker of jnd studio will overwhelm other companies' products. It's the difference between a great Joker statue and a real Heath Ledger reduced. Trust me.

Chris I’m just as big of a Heath Ledger joker fan as u and all I can say is when I saw the queen studios 1/4 scale I couldn’t believe what I was looking at was a statue. Obviously I collect and I knew it was, but the dark knight is my favorite film of all time. I have seen it waaaay too many times and couldn’t agree with u more...it IS THE BEST Heath ledger sculpt released in batches from companies. I already own a 1/4 scale ledger, but couldn’t pass on the statue🤷🏻♂️ I just knew I’d be kicking myself if I didn’t do it!

To me JND is all about hyperreal I like the pose better and think the sculpt and tailoring is much better more realistic.. I don’t like the very gimmicky prime 1 base not necessary IMO, particularly for a mature collector. I think JND is classy and in the long run will prove it...but there all great! just my choice!
I think JND is in the "prove it" phase and in time I think they will be a top contender!!
I really wanted to like the JND studios version in 1/3 but I 100% agree with you Chris, the 1/4 scale Queen Studios is the best likeness currently available in any scale. I agree that the upcharge for the rooted hair version was ridiculous but I think that the edition size was 300 vs 2000+ of the sculpted version. Can't wait to see your in hand reviews. Also, I'm going to order the 1/3 Prime 1 Joker bust tonight 😁👍

The Queen Studios 1/4 scale Artist's Edition easily has the most accurate head sculpt. The perfect likeness, the expert paint application by Viper over the sculpted hair version and my favorite mob scene pose.

@@BatmanStatueCollector I just found out a few days ago myself! A custom paint job by a skilled artist can make a huge difference especially with a small ES of 300. I would love the opportunity to get the Artist's Edition if it came in a 1/3. I would probably go as high as $2000 because my fondness for Ledger, the likeness of the sculpt, the pose and my affinity towards 1/3.
@@BatmanStatueCollector yes bro, the artist version is not just about the hair but the paint job as well.
Although I'm a big fan of elaborate bases (when justified), with a Heath Ledger piece I want one as simple as possible. I see him and this Joker more as an icon of cinema, kinda like if you were to buy a Daniel Day-Lewis or Marlon Brando piece if that makes sense. So I just want the character, and nothing that will make it look too much like a "toy" or something "fun".

For me the QS 1/4 is the absolute best! Have it on pre-order from Spec! Having to wait to 2022 is quite challenging 😁😉

Apparently it's not only rooted hair, but also better paint done by a pro artist. I saw pics of the regular omg very bad not like the prototype , the rooted hair looks amazing even better than the prototype.
You may not be interested in headsculpt paint job but I heard that JND Studio focus a lot on there silicone and paint job to be as close to Prototype as possible. The review I've seen on JND Studio Arthur Fleck, the headsculpt was amazing because of the paint job. The paint job and the shine on Arthur face makes JND Studio Arthur flecks facial paint job look real. Queen, prime 1 the statue are amazing but there paint job sometimes look chalky like Sideshows which I don't like but that's just me. I Believe that's why JND Studio are so expensive because of paint job as close to prototype as possible and High quality Silicone.
All 3 of them are great. I think which one to get depends on how are you gonna display them(with other statues of yours). I Personally I like JND the best. Classy pose classy simple base high end museum feeling, focus on the character himself, no unnecessary stuff. Same to the other 2 statues of JND. I really hope they can stick to their style. For now, I think I will go for JND Ledger Joker and display him with the 1/3 Queen TDK bale batman.

To me I feel like the Prime 1 piece is AMAZING. tons of cool accessories, nice base, and he looks terrifying. To me I want to feel terrified bc that is what Heath Ledgers joker is. The Queen Studios is also very cool, but the base is so boring (could have just added a gas can in the back with him standing in some gasoline with a pencil on the ground). The price is MUCH better also, but I still think Prime 1 is the winner.

Heath Ledger as joker is still the best performance in my opinion and to think what else he could have done if he were still alive... love seeing all these pieces and I’m pumped to get the queen studios 1/4 scale

I preorder the QS 1/4 aswell in no rooted as it’s was too much for it and as you said still looks great I’m about to preorder the prime 1 1/3 it will be my first time getting 1/3 scale but it’s ledger joker I’m also a huge fan if I ever wanted to pick a 1/3 would be prime 1 also preorder the bust with the second HS to go with it

Queen's rooted hair version will also be painted by a pro painter. We know there's a huuuge difference between factory painters and pro painters. I'm glad I managed to get one before they soldout

JND so far but for me, it’s hard to compare because silicon will reveal more details than resin. For a movie character, I think it’s important and this is why I prefer the JND even if the HS isn’t perfect on certain angles. Price is very high but high quality silicon is l’ost expensive than resin 🤷♂️
For me, P1 face looks weird. The Queen Studio is a good piece with an awesome head sculpt but I don’t like the base. It’s too simple comparing the QS 1/3 scale.

I believe the rooted hair from QS is pro painted as opposed to factory painted (whatever that means). Got it on PO.

Hey Chris, it's 800 dollars more for rooted hair AND head painted by VIPER, the lead artist. Which is well worth the price in my opinion! It's as close as prototype as you can get

Dude you won't believe this lol. I was looking at the queen studios joker for about 5 days and I finally pre-ordered it. I got the last one from toys wonderland . Its now out of stock. Don’t know why people spend so much energy with what they don’t like, rather than using it with what they enjoy.
Me, for example... at first I didn’t like the P1 facesculpt, becouse of the teeth. So what? I just will not buy it.
About Queen’s1/4, I loved it so much that it’s going to be my first ever larger statue (I collect hot toys 1/6 and 1/4 and smaller statues).
It is, for sure, the best licensed Heath Ledger Joker sculpt EVER made, in any scale, by any company.

Didn’t like the P1xBlitzway one at all in the beginning but I really like it now. Maybe even more than 1/4 QS one. JND is kinda off but it is beyond my price point anyways. None of these three will join my collection but it is nice to have a choice and there is no such a thing like too many Heath Ledger Joker statues! :D
Still the sitting one from QS is my favourite one, maybe because the pose is totally different from the rest. And man, that face sculpt, just amazing.

Amazing channel. Thanks for doing all this great content. I am surprised that you didn’t go with the rooted 1/4 queen studios. I read that a lot more work is going into it than just rooted hair. Better head sculpt paint, better tailoring, way less edition size. Do you know if that is true?

JND is my personal favorite. Spec still has it, but I’m not sure I wanna spend $2400 on it. Might go with the queen studios instead.

Hey BSC! Just wondering if you'd ever do a video on how you go about planning on what you're going to pick up and how you go about displaying everything. For example do you use spreadsheets, do you make lists of what you're getting/maybe getting or do you just do everything on the fly. Would love to know your process as for me it can sometimes be a little overwhelming when it comes to organising where I'm putting stuff or what statues I'm getting :-)

Yea they are doing a fantastic job.im a artist and I know silicone has to be in temperatures of 65 to 72 degrees and need to be kelp out of sunlight

Great video as always with amazing key points on all of the 3 Ledgers. In my humble opinion the best close to reality is the JND one and I will ask you this Chris and all and am sure you will give your honest take on it. If P1 was the one doing the JND Joker would you hesitate a second to buy it!!! I doubt that. I think the price is WAY to high and I think you will ended up buying it if it costs similar to the P1. Me personaly I may go to P1 not because it looked better but because it costs less and at the same time it looks great. That JND is a level above the rest and time will tell once the collectors will get hold of it and I can see the price tag will get even higher after it runs out thats if it’s not already is.
Thats a great question. I'm just not 100% sold on the JND head, maybe if they tweak it a bit i will change my mind.
If you’re looking for the best Heath joker head sculpt.Just take a look at the sculpter Adam gu’s works.It’s even better than queen studio’s.

I ended up cancelling prime 1's and will probably order queen's studio one. It's shame since I wanted to display this one with my prime 1 joaquin phoenix joker. However the scaling difference makes that impossible. Feels bad.
Hi Chris, maybe you've been made aware since filming this video but the price difference on the QS 1:4 isn't just from the rooted hair. It comes from the fact that Viper is doing the portraits, which involves a huge additional cost ofc. It's basically as close as possible to buying a prototype. That's a pretty rare thing on a licensed piece like this. Yes, the price difference is indeed ridiculous, but it's not just about the hair and it also pretty much ensures that the value will be there if you ever have to sell it. It's obviously still very expensive for a 1:4, especially compared to their amazing 1:3 statue.

For me :
#1 QS Rooted hair i pull the trigger on that one great concept, and also i pull the trigger on P1 love the base,accessories,post and is 1/3 that's my #2 . JND, I don't know but I think is overpriced, base is very simple, just don't justify the cost easy pass for me!
With the new head announced by p1… i think it takes the top spot. Wow. And i dont even collect batman

yeah i agree the queen studios 1/4 scale is the best to date. out of all the 1/3 scale ones i’d go with prime 1 however i collect 1/4. either way these are all great pieces and you can’t go wrong with any of them in my opinion.

My ideal set-up is exactly how you described. Infinity Studios Bust flanked by seated and standing Joker. Mine will be in the 1/4 scale size. Also worried about that IS life size price point. 😬

Really cannot go wrong with any of these 3 options. I will be getting the Q/S Joker due to the smaller scale, pose & likeness. If I was getting a 1:3, then I’d probably go with the Prime 1.

Lifesize bust won‘t be for me but it‘s amazing! I have the same thrill with their lifesize Harley Quinn Margot Robbie. I have to have it 😅 will be over 4k tho

I do like clay or chalk or resin and silicone stautes better but the PVC is ok. I do have have some stautes of PVC.
The rooted hair version costs more because it's more time-consuming to make compared to one that has sculpted hair that comes out of a mold already styled.

Out of all of them the Prime 1 is my favorite, but I really wish you could mash these into one statue, lol.
Prime 1 has the best pose but the worst portrait, imo. I prefer 1:3 scale to 1:4, but the 1:4 had my favorite portrait.
I wish Prime 1 would give an additional head sculpt swap out. Maybe it's not too late?
I like all 3 but i can only go for 1 and i have chosen QS Artist edition. super excited for it.

This is a VERY hard and EXPENSIVE decision. I think QS has the best head sculpt. Prime 1 has the best overall statue (dynamic base and scene). JND is the best head sculpt for a 1/3.
Wish I would’ve gotten the 1/3 QS.

Chris, you know me, I sayed it many times, Prime 1's Ledger Joker is my favorite, I love everything about it. I do wish he had two head sculpts, but moving eyes are a good feature. Again, I'm currently broke and have to wait to order it, but I know when that day comes, I will be happy as Joker falling of the roof. Again, other statues are great too, especialy your number 1 statue, but I just preffer Prime 1's better. Keep on rockin' Chris!! 🔥🤟🦇

Of course, one cannot judge correctly until having all statues in hand. Having said that, looking at your seated statue on pause, and the Prime 1 studios figure in comparison to the JND Studios promo video I just saw before yours, I can say based only on that that the JND blows the other two out of the water. Would I pay their gastronomical price? Nope. Would I buy the other two? Nope. The JND is my grail Ledger Joker. Looking at the Prime 1 statue, it's quickly east to see why the face is the one of all three that is the worst. It's error lies in that it ISN'T taken from a specific still, but rather was based on a number of captured stills and they wanted to make an "original" sculpt. Admirable, but you're always gonna come up short on that endeavor. The seated Joker statue you have, is a much better likeness. For what it is, it's awesome. But in terms of screen, character, and icon moment "capture" . . . JND did it. I wonder if they will ever be topped?

Easily the Queen Studios version. It's just a case of how close the non-artist editions come to matching the quality of the prototype. The detail on the Prime 1 version is impressive, but I really do not like the toothy grin, it throws off the likeness - I don't recall Heath ever looking like that in the film. Again, the detail on the JND is impressive, and I love the "hit me" pose, but the likeness is hit and miss, looking perfect from some angles and miles off from others.

@@somersfamily Nice score! If the QS piece turns out as well as the prototype it'll be one, if not the best mass produced versions of Heath's Joker. Everything, the pose, clothing and the way it tailored to the body, the physique/body proportions, likeness, and as I've said before, the way he looks like he has freshly applied his 'war paint' ..... all looks top notch.

I like the Health Ledger joker from JND the most because of the face expression, however, its too expesnive, but I preordered Wonder Woman from them, and I will get the suclpted hair version Health Ledger from Queen Studio, so much cheaper compared to JND and the artist version. JND's Arthur Flex doesn't look like Joaquin from the movie, just in my opinion.

Agreed. The jnd is off in the portrait and I’m not a fan of the base. It’s very boring as well. The best portrait is the Queen studios one but everything else is better on the p1. Overall : p1, Queen studios, jnd

I love the queen studios version, I’m torn between rooted version or regular. The JND is over priced and for prime 1 is amazing and perfect but I don’t like the base. I think queen studios is the best. Especially that grenades he has

Why would anyone complain about having so many different Options? Makes no Sense. Be happy, that we have so many Options. Besides the horrible Sideshow-Piece they are all at least very good Statues. My Favs are easily the two QS-Statues, altough the Base at the 1/4 is pretty boring. JND has a great Headsculpt, but I'm not a Fan of Silicon, the price of course and the Base is also pretty boring. P1 has the best Base, but I'm not a Fan of that Grin and the Headsculpt in general. I would rank them:
1. QS 1/4
2. QS 1/3
3. JND 1/3
4. P1 1/3

JND's is great but way over priced. Queens is accurate but also overpriced for the rooted hair even if it is painted by a pro painter. The sculpted is exactly what 1/4th scale collectors are looking for and recommend that one for them if you are looking for accuracy but at a reasonable price. Prime 1's is the choice for 1/3rd collectors such as myself on a budget. Great sculpt. paint app and tailoring, many options yet a fair price. The only thing that is off is the face sculpt which is just slightly wide of the mark. I think it's the smile, doesn't look right for Heath Ledger. I'm still on the fence about getting it, both because of the portrait and budget concerns as I have money tied up already in many other Prime 1 statues.

QS 1/4 is the best but I only collect 1/3 and LS Busts. P1 is way too expensive for this scale but whac can we do... I'll wait for infinity bust to be revealed and then decide. P1 or IS. JND was too expensive and also too boring.
