The rewards for the free pass seems a bit too low. I've been playing Asphalt 9 for more than an year and I can say it is less p2w that this game. But still it's good that content is being added, ofc there is a room for improvement.

Dude, 10 bucks is NOTHING compared to what we had/have to spend to get other smaller stuff in this game, I say we are getting a good deal with the Ruf Custom (+ all the pro pass awards).

There's a new Pro pass every Club Season. The Free pass is always available to all players, but the Pro Pass is purchasable in-game each season to unlock the Pro Prize tier.
