  • The restaurant chef cooks at home. Let's bake bread with a rice cooker.
Today bake "Butter milk bread". Here's a recipe for fluffy buttery scent.
    200g Bread flour
    3g Dry yeast
    2g Salt
    25g Sugar
    40g Butter
    Warmed milk
    1 egg
→ Total 120g weight of eggs and milk
    1. Put flour, dry yeast, salt, sugar and butter in the rice cooker of the rice cooker. Do not touch dry yeast and salt directly.
    2. Mix warm milk and eggs and melt. Eggs are different in size, so adjust the amount of milk so that the total amount of milk and eggs is 120g. (Approximately 50 g per egg content)
Add 2 to 3 and 1 and mix well.
Transfer the dough to a table and mix it for about 5 minutes until it becomes glossy.
    4. Put the dough back in the rice cooker and put it in the heat retention mode for 2 minutes. Be careful not to raise the temperature too much.
    5. Turn off the heat insulation and ferment for 40 to 50 minutes at the body temperature.
    6. Transfer the dough to a stand and divide into 6 equal parts. Roll them one by one and place them in a rice cooker.
    7. Put the dough back in the rice cooker and put it in warm mode for 2 minutes. Be careful not to raise the temperature too much.
    8. Turn off the heat, and ferment for about 40 to 50 minutes at the body temperature.
    9. Turn on the rice cooker switch for normal cooking. Bake the surface in contact with the pot.
    10. After baking, take out the dough, turn it over, and put it back in the rice cooker.
    11. Put it in the rice cooker and press the rice cooker switch for normal cooking again. The opposite side is also baked.
    12. Buttermilk bread is baked in the rice cooker. Buon appetito !!

You can still cook with it. I set my bread on Warm for 30 after proofing it for 45m. Be sure to put a spray or two of water on the bottom of the rice cooker so to not burn the dough. Then I flipped the bread over and set it to warm again for about 15m and YUM

Good bread needs time. A LOT OF TIME. Most stuff you buy at stores is made in practically minutes and does not taste that great in comparison

@@retroprogamer7009 it takes time but actual time you have to be active yourself is about 15 minutes if you know what you are doing. I usually make bread dough while waiting my morning coffee dripping, then after some time i visit kitchen i do next step etc... so practically it does not take time at all.

@@freezedeve3119True but it still takes a few hours for proofing. You cant really make a good bread in just a few minutes total.

same as in regular oven. This comes in handy when gas tank is empty. I know in other countries have gas lines. in Trinidad we have both tanks and lines, but not everyone uses both.
