Gru's appearance is like, B tier, but his stats are a solid S+ each.
Let's think for a second.
First of all, Gru is super rich. If he wasn't it'd be hard for him to have all of his tech and inventions.
Second, Gru is super intelligent. Evident by his plans and inventions.
Third, Gru has a following of thousands of very loyal, nearly immortal beings.
Fourth, Gru has incredible physical prowess. He backfisted a Shark like it was no big deal. Gru's physique is also incredible, he's a giant. His skin is also incredibly tough. If you didn't know, some sharks have skin that is essentially millions of micro razor blades. The fact he hit that Shark and suffered no damage proves his incredible defense.
Gru was also able to dodge missiles that travel at incredibly high speeds essentially without trouble. He also thought up the plan to use the missiles to infiltrate Vector's base in virtually no time. He courageously went onto a ship that would go into space and would likely kill him.
Do not treat Gru like a regular being. He is not. Respect him. If not respect, fear him. You may underestimate Gru as some silly animated character, he is not. If you ever (re)watch a movie he is in, remember how incredible he is. _why is there no anime about Gru???_

@@deadopsgx8578 Well, it's impossible to know exactly what type of missiles those were, so I googled for 2 things: The average speed of a missile and the average speed of a cruise missile. First search came up as 7 km/s, and the second one came up as 500 mph. Either way, we can't determine exactly what type of missiles they are, so we can't have a good estimate of the speed of the missiles. The scene could be slowed down in the movie, like how the 5 minute long Frieza vs. SSJ Goku fight lasted many episodeS. Still, since they are missiles, we know that Gru is incredibly fast.

I just noticed, when Gru hit the doorbell camera thing, the room around vector shook, or at least the camera did a bit, meaning his punch was felt all the way inside the compound.

Here's why, if you go backwards against an opponent's punch there's a high chance that there's another two coming and no time for retaliation but if you go dodging towards the opponent, it will give you a chance to hit and that one chance determines your conviction as a man that's why gru is alpha.

I find it funny that he climbs over some pretty large heat seeking missles, that I suppose are meant for planes or ships. Therefore gru has the reaction time to not only jump over but to also climb on those what I presume Mach traveling speed, missles. Therefore gru can move at or near the speed of sound.
