Ive been playing this since yesterday at 11:00pm and i found at that when your in a story mode battle you can go as far as you want on the map as long as it is in the barrier of the map which is huge
Man, as much as I love this game. Like many have said, to many iconic moments were cut out. I can't believe they left out how Gohan really learned to go SS. That was a huge moment after our entire journey with Gohan. Him realizing how many times he let his friends down and being tired of not stepping up. It didn't have to have the entire dialogue but how sick it would've been to be in control of Gohan trying to hold back that Kamehameha Goku sent. Asura's Wrath style QTE. That was the main thing missing from this game. If only the would've added the QTE during those cutscenes and some gameplay. Which is why for the longest/years I wanted for CC2 to make a DB game, smh.

One thing I didn’t like about the cell sage is how Goku didn’t stay true to his character. He has never quit a training session early, he has never been satisfied with his current strength. Even though he knew Gohan was strong enough it doesn’t make sense for Goku to be content with his power level when he has more time to train.
Wildcat 8 you are absolutely correct on that. Apparently the original idea was that, Gohan would be the main character leading the DBZ franchise. However fans did not like this idea as they preferred Goku to be the main character Thus the arc had to be rectified the way it did.
I have a head cannon theory that Goku was suffering from like a stress induced psychosis during that time. All of the crazy ass stuff he does once he's left the Time Chamber is easily explained this way. Like think about the amount of stress Goku had been under since the heart virus. It was just trauma after trauma with no respite. He knew he wasn't strong enough to beat Cell and putting Gohan to fight in his place must have been a stressful decision for him, Goku doesn't send people to fight in his place and risk their lives. It's not in his character to do that, he was acting abnormal the whole time. Everyone picks up on it but no one says anything, it's why Gohan keeps asking repeatedly if his Dad can beat Cell. He is checking his mindset, if Goku replies "meh don't worry about it" he knows his Dad is acting off. I think the Time Chamber itself pushed his already fragile mindset at that time to breaking point and he just dissasociated himself from what was actually going on... so he came to believe his own denial going on...that Gohan would be in no danger of being killed... that the battle was as good as won.
I think Goku was really proud of Gohan and began to also realise that he is not immortal. He is not going to be around forever. Earth needs a new hero. We can also see that in the Buu Saga. Goku has matured much more in the cell Saga. He was looking for the best interest of the planet, the next gen, Gohan and after that Goten and Trunks
Moe Shindeiru to be honest I also want to see them too and utilized in the same way Vegeta utilized SSJ Blue by using SSG as a base and then at the last moment burst into SSJ Blue to maximize speed and power and then revert to SSG to retain stamina. In the regular variation, I would use SSJ Grade4 as a base like it was meant too in order retain speed as well as stamina and then at the last moment burst into Grade 3 since it has been said Grade 3 is 10x stronger than the grade 1 and 4
