    How good it is to be out in nature. I reckon most of us need to spend more time in nature, so can value it and care for it. So many emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of spending time in nature.

    The tarp held up well, it looked like a nice little set up to get out of the wind. I love seeing the lambs out and about 🍀

    Yeah, making the effort to get out and I know is worthwhile because on my first adventure got a feeling that lasted 20 mins when I had finished my hike. Felt brilliant almost glowing. All the fresh air and hiking. Will take your advice on the woods because there a woods 15 mins on a bus. Thank you.

      Sounds like a plan mate. Will do that. The Knockmealdown Challenge was brilliant. Weather was clear, bright and cold.. my favourite hiking conditions.

    Excellent. Have you made a film about your 360 degree camera? I've sent you a little thank you.

    • @soletrail
      @soletrail  9 месяцев назад

      Aw thank you.. 😊 yep it's something I want to do. I was sent an attachment from Xmount to add my DJI mic to the 360. So will see how it goes. I recorded the full Knockmealdown crossing yesterday with it. Using the 360 and using the single lens mode. Will see how it goes. 🙂 You thinking of getting one?

    Well lad great footage. Did you miss having the Xmid vs the Helium? Also what’s the container you have for the Katadyn filter? Thanks 👍

    • @soletrail
      @soletrail  9 месяцев назад

      Miss the 2 vestibules of the Xmid but the Helium is a light weight tank. So solid. My go too for wind. The bottle I got is the Hydapak Flux bottle. My Before bottle sprung a leak. Honestly, I prefer the Hydapak.. way more structurally sound. You looking to upgrade?

    Nice video. Was in the Galtys this weekend as well, saw lots of new born lanbs, one that still had its umbilical chord, it must have been born hours before.
    Is the jacket you have a hard shell?

    • @soletrail
      @soletrail  9 месяцев назад +1

      Aw likewise. The cord. Was still attached. So beautiful isn't it. The jacket I have not a Mountain equipment Garwal jacket. Have a review of it. Not shell.. Gortex. I love shell jackets. You on the look out for a new jacket?

    • @MeChoonChannel
      @MeChoonChannel 9 месяцев назад

      @@soletrail Yeah, I never seem to get layering right. I'm either freezing or roasting, nothing in between! I usually have a moisture wicking t-shirt, light fleece, goose-down jacket for the summit and a light rain jacket for when it rains but the ones I have are cheap/disposable types. Looking to buy a proper jacket that will last a while. I'll check out the review! Cheers man.

    whats the f10 like room wise inside length wise ?, looking at upgradeing my tent, but struggling to get one build for some 6ft3

    • @soletrail
      @soletrail  9 месяцев назад +1

      What I will do is pitch it for you and throw a measuring tape in it and check. If the length suits you it is one brilliant tent.

      Thanks Jay, and keep in touch. Nature has such an amazing ability to ground us. Big hikes, multi days, small hikes or a 10min sit in the woods... All the same. Do what you can when you can. So delighted you got back into hiking. Keep me updated on your adventures. 🤙
