Omg congratulations to Cindy and Andrew!!! Her birth story reminds me of mine. I had my due date for the 23rd of September and on the 20th at around midnight to 4 am I had to constantly pee. The last time I got up I noticed my pijama pants and underwear were soaked. Woke up my husband to tell him that I think my water broke. We go, the hospital is literally a light down the road. We go in and they check to see how much i was dilated. And it was 3cm the same as my last OB appointment about 3 days prior to that day. They did the test to see if it's amniotic fluid. It came back negative. And the lady checking the monitor thats strapped to my belly says I'm having contractions according to the machine just not strong enough for me to feel them. We get sent home at 6am. My husband and I had no sleep. I also worked a full day the day before on Saturday. It's not 6 am on Sunday. My parents came to visit me, they live about an hour away. They bring us food and we just hang out all day. Told them about work the day before and about the craziness we had that morning. My husband and I had a hospital bag set up and it was still in the car. They left at about 6pm. I was laying in bed and at about 7:30 I started getting cramps that would come and go every 5 minutes. Told my husband. He asked if my water had broken for real this time. I said now. So we went outside to walk. The contractions are getting more and more painful but still manageable. Took a shower and at this point my contractions are 3 minutes apart and it 9 pm. Then they were more intense. To the point where I didn't know if standing up or sitting was more confortable. Throughout this time I'm going to the bathroom to pee like every 30 minutes. Then at about 10 I go again and when I wiped i saw blood and more in the toilet. We then rushed to the hospital only 5 minutes away. Got there and they took so long to come back to the room. Literally hours before they there so quick now I'm in so much pain and am still bleeding so much! When they came in to check they told me im 7cm dilated. I was so shocked. By the time they wheeled me to my room it was about 11pm. Oh my god! The pain i con only describe as intense pressure. I kept asking when can I start pushing. The nurse was like oh we will check you again at 12:30. It's my first baby so I was like ok. My contractions felt like they were on top of each other one after the next. Didn't scream just kind of held my breath. Looking back i think I should have breath through them. Anyway. I knew I didn't want an epidural anyway. I couldn't be still because of the contractions anyway to get one. I looked at the nurse was like I really need to push she checked and said some things to the other nurses and they all run into action. Im assuming the baby is coming now. Looking back I should have trusted my intuition. This baby is coming out! The doctor comes in and i push about three times in what felt like a minute. She was out! Got three stitches on a second degree tear. I felt like I literally got to the hospital an hour and a half ago. Oh she was born at 12:15 so 15 minutes into the new day. 18 hours after I got sent home the day before. She was 6lb1oz two days before my due date. Called my family because we literally left in such a hurry I didn't have time to tell anyone. She's a year and 6 months now.

Omg…everyone standing around that one tiny slipper is hilarious!!! I’m still cracking up! Thanks for that. 🤣❤️ Congratulations! So beautiful! 💕
