Flying a Citation Excel from Corpus Christi TX to Liberia Costa Rica. Flying around thunderstorms and landing in some moderate rain, made for a fun flight.
As I understand it, the XLS just has a smidge more power and a reshaped exhaust. So it should climb faster than the Excel. But other than that, it shouldn’t be too different.

Very nice approach to minimums, does the xl fly the same as the xls?
