Thank Christ that there is a video like this. Not only does it offer at least some helpful advice regarding the bunker shot, but the content creator doesn't ramble on for 25 minutes explaining his "technique" (which is what most content creators do). This video is straight and to the point. Well done. Keep all your tutorial and "advice" videos in this same format. Well done. Wishing you continued success with your channel.
Playing the new EA Sports PGA Tour, tips still worked well. Didn't know 80% sand meant 80% of the shot, now I know why it wasn't hitting normal lol. Thanks!
Btw @Ma_Kachada , forgot to mention a suggestion for a video on putting from the green fringe rather than the default chip option it gives you. When you select putter in those situations (more realistic) it 'seems' to default the putter power too high, if that makes sense. I've been trying it in career mode today and found I needed to pull the marker back quite a way, but still some guess work involved. Looking forward to more vids.
I use flop shot like we used the splash shot from 2k21. A fast flop a little under or over the hole is still a lot closer than a splash. I just don't trust the splash shot or feel comfortable gambling with splash, I can control punch or flop even chip.
Good video. How about one that covers the effect of the timing, transition and swing path stat effects on your swing? I'm not sure which fittings I really want to install on my clubs to make the swing more consistent.
Thanks for the tutorial. Enjoyed watching you play live the other day. I move to a new bunker location & turn myself aiming at the pin. However... In the green side bunker (62% - 75%) pin real distance is 20y/+3. Shot data box shows the distance to a pin (62y/+4) next green over! So the shot data for the LW splash shot at 100% = 55y
@@Ma_Kachada Sorry if there's confusion regarding my question. I'm referring *to my* situation. I'm in the chipping practice mode and have placed myself inside a bunker. My shot data box is showing a distance of different pin placement on a different green and not the one I'm in. Now, if I could only drop in a screen shot!
splash shot timing gets me rattled sometimes. other times i just works. definitely very dependant on the backswing/follow-through speeds. i also feel like hitting offline makes the swing speed variations more penalizing. so a swing speed that results in grey fast with a perfect line, might be considered black fast if the line is off.
This is what I’ve been doing. I’ve not left one in the bunker and always around 3-8 foot away. I’ll even add loft for a little extra height. Should really practice this method though, and great vid 😁
Great video as always, I manage to get out of bunkers but it's normally with a very fast it's real hard to be anywhere near the perfect. Thanks for the video keep up the great work.
Completely agree with you. I tried this about 40 or 50 times last night. Very mixed results. Holed one out and others didn't get past the rough. It's all about the tempo and it is difficult to get it right.
Very close Ma Kachada - but if you keep adjusting the cursor like you're doing, you're going to have to adjust the speed of your swing every single time-and learn infinite amounts of swing speeds. Why not learn one speed? - the one tied to the max yardage of the club - 35 yards? Use the FULL # yards of the CLUB - the CPU THINKS you are hitting a LONGER shot (35 yards) so the meter will have normal results - 'perfect's and 'gray' swings. Swing meter links to the cursor. Move the cursor, adjust the speed. I swing the club the same speed in 10 foot deep bunkers, 20 yard shots, 40 yard shots - cause it's all based on the same cursor position every time. Chips 'very fast' aren't penalizing but same formula applies.
Maybe I’m just OLD but my swing path with the right stick is all over the place jiggling left right through out the swing I had to bump it down to proam😢
Definitely agree you have to compensate way more from bad lie this year. In 2k23 to me it feels more explicit how much height you lose even on full swings out of bad lie. And to me it also feels like bad tempo affects even the height of your shot drastically, where in 2k21 I kinda remember you could still get decent height on a mishit. But now it feels push/pull also drastically lowers the max height you can get off a chip/flop/pitch, tho a little less so on a pitch. Also feel like that missing height is part of what makes it much harder to recover greenside or stop the ball from recovery compared to 2k21. Would you agree or not so much? It's been so long since I played 2k21 I can't reliable confirm or deny my own observation lol
Hi. Can you please tell me what you did to enable the elevated view of the hole seen at 1:46? On my config, when I'm in chipping distance and I press triangle, I don't get the same overhead view/cam that I get when I'm further from the hole. Instead, I get a static (non-interactive) zoomed-back view with the blue shot arc displayed...
Either that set didn't have a pw or you are experience the all club set glitch and you have to do it manually. Go to your pitching wedge in your golf bag and click change appearance. Then choose the one you want
Circle... It's "B" dude! Hahaha. I kid, I kid. What about these "When Grandma Burps Patrick Obeys" W, G, B, P, O white, green, blue, purple, orange. The golf ball sleeves. Are they worth using, which is best? Friction, magnet...
How can I move the ball around in practice area on a PC? I can't find a button that will do what the "O" button does on a console. Great video instruction here.
The lower the number the worse the lie. If you have a 100 yard shot and your lie penalty says 60%-70%. You will hit your 100 yard club 60-70 yards. This make sense?
I dunno. This hasn’t been my experience. Also I don’t think most people are 7:00 very fast. But I guess if they are this may help if they don’t want to improve their swing.
They need to add ranked play into matchmaking for this game and an option in the settings to “reset calibration” that way you can reset your swing calibration to the games default any time you want to.
wonder if anyone can help me ? is there a place i can see the settings used online ? so i can apply them to my career ? such a huge difference now that its effecting my online play even playing the career mode thanks guys

Not sure if you have yet, but a video on The new balls and default ball and what everyone should be choosing would be a great?
Thank you MK! This was awsome. I never thought about pushing that deep before. We didn't need it in 21. I can't wait to give this a shot.
The production is still a work in progress. Thank you for the support, and I will continue to improve!

Instead of the splash shot if the bunker is not to deep I find it better to hit a chip shot
That's a great option as well. I do find the chip to launch too low sometimes though to get out of the bunkers

Great video. I am really struggling with putting in the new game, especially putt speed, or weight as they call it. Can we get a video on that?
No problem. It's on the list.
I was making a come up in a society event moved up to 2nd then all of the sudden bam 4 shots in the bunker.
Hopefully this helps end that issue

Same place. Just place the ball in the grass where you would normally hit those shots.

What if there's a send bunker in middle of the green and the hole is inside the sand bunker

Try speeding up ypur backswing on the takeaway
