I sold a ton of the lower level ones up to blue to have enough money to upgrade the purples (Epic's) This was at Level 28 and on the last tier of skills. All legendary on my putter. At least 2 legendary on everything else except hybrid which I don't use. My skills all went into putting and driver...Love being able to drive over 350 with an average of 340.
8:25 As a powerhouse, I actually should had invested more on my wedges and irons. I currently get away with using chip shots to avoid long putts and putt penalties. I once beat Tiger Woods at TPC Sawgrass by out chipping him on long putts even though I don't have enough fittings to add more power on my irons.
@Timoxi80 yes, there is...when you go to fittings you have the option between upgrade and exchange. Same menu but I couldnt tell you what the PC key binding for it is. It is the best way to get red/orange fittings and once you get to that point you use the exchange to get the type of red/orange you want
I realize this video is 9 months old but have they patched or something? I'm fairly new but I trued exchanging some fittings and they did NOT upgrade. They simply gave me 1 of the same color but I got to pick the largest stat. This went for grays and greens, I have not tried other colors yet.
The colors for fittings are same as most RPG games lowest-->highest White, green, blue, purple, and ORANGE. Easy way to remember, take 1st letter of each color... When Grandma Burps Patrick Obeys

I'm lvl 50 and should have watched this a LONG time ago. I deleted so many fittings just to make room when I should have been exchanging them lol. I think it was only 30-40 so not terrible but I'm glad I know now!!!
As you stated, fittings is the one part of the game I do not understand. There's a "100" fitting limit, but when you are performing exchanges, or upgrades, your number is decreasing? Until now, I'm shotting in the dark and find myself at 97/100. You encourage upgrades vs exchanges? ~ Thanks ~

What's the best method to get high-end fittings can you get them just playing rounds or should you continue to play the tour over and over again for the best fittings
trying to understand the numbers given to skills. As an example my Driver head is a red power +8. Would it be an advantage to upgrade when possible to a red power head with a +12. What would be the advantage and would this apply to all skills.
I think irons and woods - driver and wedges get timing cause that helps so much for the down swing. Putter I feel would be last in skills cause if you can read the putts you are fine. But let the people pick what they feel is best for them cause they might be lot better then you tbh. Cause mine is way different from you and ever game I’ve played we have won on teams or high roller skins

I tend to have a small push to the right at the top of my swing other then that my back and forth is usually good (at least on my drives and fairway shots my putts are all over the place for some reason regardless of controller)but I am struggling with timing this year. I don't know if you've mentioned it in any of your videos or I've seen it in somebody else's videos but I know or it feels to me at least like the swing has to be slower more consistent swing this year and I'm just not doing it. But I will definitely check out that video

Transition increase you white bar and light grey sections. A lot easier to hit perfects or slight early/fast. This allows you to be more consistent with your yardages.

Transition = %power - backswing shot power forgiveness - the white and grey on your circle arc shot meter Timing = hook/slice - downswing fast/slow forgiveness - the horizontal white and grey bars Swing Path = push/pull - how straight your shot is - the vertical white and grey bars This is for analogue swing method. But same applies for 3 click. The transition will affect the first click (holding) forgiveness, the swing path affects the second click forgiveness (top) and the timing affects the third click forgiveness (bottom)

@@lesjones4432 tier 1 is transition, so you will have a transition boost on all three time. If you go tier 3 it is timing. If you're tier 3 you only get timing. You don't get swing path and transition

I don't see the advantage of hybrids in this game. With two legendary iron fittings my 3 iron is up to 239 yards and you have the better lie range anyway in the rough. I've taken hybrids completely out of my bag and put no skills or fittings on them, so definitely can do without them.

I've got a problem and I hope you can help. I take 3 red fittings and try to exchange them for another red fitting. It lets me choose the type of club I want to put it on and the skill I want but when I hit the X button (PS4) and hold it down it doesn't do anything. I've done it on purple fittings and it worked fine. Is there any reason it won't work on the red fittings. Thanks
My only thought is maybe you already have that red fitting for that part of the club?. I know it works because I've done it but it probably is just another bug to add to the lists

I wonder how we get VC besides buying with money when we reach level 50? I guess just from beating rivals, etc I guess, no 250 for going up a level. I already played too much for me, and I'm only on like level 22 but still wondering. Jus ta tip, online Top Golf isn't a bad way of earning some VC quickly if you can beat the other players. You can earn between 350-500 for getting first place, even coming in 2nd you can earn a decent amount for just a few minutes of fun target hitting.
Question: My fiance likes to play as a local guest and it seems the only way to allow her to have similar upgraded clubs is to "fit" them for the guest player as well.. which means I have to pay double (or triple if my brother plays as a 3rd guest too) for the same fittings I've already paid for with my main character. You know of a way around this? Where she can use my fitted clubs.? Seems like a money grab unless they just play with the standard non-fitted clubs
Unfortunately, that is the only way to do it. Wish there was a better option. They do they same thing for ps4 and ps5. Same account but have to pay to fit them on both systems

@@Ma_Kachada well even when you select one of those guys the "golf bag" shows the original clubs that you start with. I like the fact the guests have their own archetype to select from but there should be an option in the golf bag to "use main characters bag" or something where the clubs are already fitted so she's not using the stock BS clubs you start with

I absolutely appreciate you making this video in an attempt to help us with this…I've watched ALL your recent videos but sadly I'm now even more confused…You're talking WAY too fast…Not clearly starting with what the purpose is of either the 'fittings' or 'skills' elements of this game (I played 2K21), or why we should care!…Way too 'Elite' for (I'd guess) 95% of 'Normal' players, who just want to 'virtually' enjoy playing golf… Not least cause many can't afford to play in IRL 😔…And for context, I've been playing golf for 42 years IRL and have won the NET club championship at my golf club…ie. I love and strive to understand all aspects of what leads to success in playing golf.
I apologize for my fast approach. Hopefully my other videos can help guide some context. There will also be a lot more tip videos in the future to help. I'll keep your comment in mind when I'm explaining it all.
I'm a 3 clicker in the training course I get in the bunker and with a lob wedge I can clear 24 feet to get on the green. Know in a game whether it is career or ranked I can't clear 7 feet any reason why that is?? Don't say change to swing stick please.

I mean other than the passives, nearly ever skill makes the games suck that much worse.. Why is the exchange prompt not there for me

Your upgrading is different than mine. It doesn’t go up a color. Stays the same but it allows a custom pick.

I tested out multiple different methods, but it does appear to be random. Upgrading is your best bet

agree i have 0 points in putting and rarely miss because putting seems a lot easier than in years past
I exchange low level fitting to higher and then go play a round, when come back every is the same before i exchange it. Bug or glitch may be 😅

Do fittings apply across all clubs of that type? EG if I apply a fitting to my driver then change the driver does that carry over?
Yeah. Appearance is only cosmetic and attached fittings will remain.

How do I unlock skills beyond the first column? I don't really need columns 1,3,5 but want 2,4,6,7.

Do skills matter for online play
Newbie question.....when 1st starting out should you play in amateur difficulty to help level up faster or play at a different difficulty?
Set the rivals to very easy, and play whatever difficulty you can shoot -6 or better.
So more than 1 level in column 7 is not needed? I burned a few points then. Thanks for the breakdown.

If you can get everything you want out 5 wood or 3 iron instead then no need to carry a hybrid.

You do still get 250 per level after 50 you still get the level bar and the VC but it will still show as 50
