  • Hi! In this video I will show you how to build a cordless work lamp powered by Dewalt batteries, of course you can use other batteries from any manufacturer. In my opinion, it may be the most powerful lamp of this class you have seen so far ...

    Nice build, if you factor in the time and skill the cost of this lamp will run up to a GDP of a small country, but, OTOH, you're just not going to get some features of this lamp in any commercial offering.
    Great idea making a router bit for routing the slot for the plexiglass, too bad it's hard to do without a lathe, being able to make led channels out of c-profile is priceless.

    I thought about just using some car led work lights that run at up to 24v and two spade connectors and just screw it in a plywood box. The two outer connections in the battery and the -/+ the centre are just balance connections. I might make a video too.

    Great design! I have the DeWalt tripod light because I'm tired of tripping over cords, and dealing with the heat/electric bill/broken bulbs with halogen work lamps. It works great, but it would be nice to have a plug-in option for long jobs where the cord wouldn't be in the way. Now you have both options!

      exactly! cordless tools are great 😃 but sometimes you forget the charger and there's nothing to recharge the battery, that's when the power adapter comes in handy 😃

      @@mateuszturek5760 for me the lights really run through batteries. So if I have one setup for a project that takes a few days swapping the battery is annoying. 🤣 Would be nice to plug in for those projects.

      @@piercedtiger988 That's right, so you can make an additional socket for connecting an external power supply 😉

    Very cool

    A do czego służy inny zielony pasek (wskazujący niższe naprężenie) na tensometrze przecinarki? Ja na swojej zawsze ustawiam na niższy ale nie wiem czy poprawnie

    • @mateuszturek5760
      @mateuszturek5760  2 года назад

      Szczerze mówiąc nie wiem, a ustawiam ma tym który widać na filmie, bo bodajże tak było w instrukcji 😉 bądź też na intuicję sam nie pamiętam🙈 do tej pory żadna taśma mi nie pękła więc jest dobrze, co prawda pewnie dlatego że zbyt krótko mam przecinarke, i prędzej czy później się zdarzy 😉

    Dodaj sobie zabezpieczenie przed rozladowaniem aku bo jak die rozladuje do 0 to bedzie problem

    • @mateuszturek5760
      @mateuszturek5760  2 года назад

      Masz rację! Zorientowalem się przy pierwszym uzytkowaniu, BMS nie pokazywał już nawet jednej kropki, na szczęście ladowanie ruszyło, teraz już wiem że należy to kontrolować. Oczywiscie od razu pomyślałem o dolozeniu zabezpieczenia przed rozladowaniem, jednak jeszcze nie zdazylem tego zrobić. P.s lampa robi robotę 😉 dzięki za komentarz 🤜🤛

    Очень тонкие провода для большого тока.

    • @mateuszturek5760
      @mateuszturek5760  2 года назад

      5 (м) x 20 (Вт) = 100 (Вт) ÷ 12 (В) = 8,33А, так что с проводами 1мм² неплохо 😉

    8000 lumens from led strips?

      The manufacturer gives about 1600lm / m, and I used 5 :)

    • @mateuszturek5760
      @mateuszturek5760  Год назад +1

      Czasu zapewne kilka, lub kilkanaście godzin, straconego materiału? Nic, bo lampa spisuje się świetnie, zużytego natomiast niewiele, tyle co widać na filmie 😉

    11.25 "remember about safety" you say but you're angle grinder cover goes away , how dumb some people are , I don't care anymore about .but there you go I gave you my thumbs up.

    • @mateuszturek5760
      @mateuszturek5760  2 года назад +1

      yes, it would be safer with a cover, but probably everyone who works with metal knows that there are situations in which it is not possible to approach certain places with the cover, and the second thing is that it is safer without a cover but with glasses, than the other way around 😉 anyway thanks to for your attention 👍😃
