- I heard about this small private yard a few hours from home and decided to go check it out and see what they had to offer! It was mostly 70s and 80s GM stuff but there was a few outliers as well. We ended up buying several cars from this yard including the 1960 Impala and the 1976 Chevy K5 Blazer from my previous videos. Go check it out! And no, I'm not telling you where this was located as they asked me to keep the location private.

" you guys AR pretty funny. You should make more "drunk in the junk" videos where you drink a shit ton of beer and tour wreckin' yards.😂" @Seth Barnes .
My favorite comment so far.
We'll get right on that!
@@MortskeRepair Hi. Where is this place of junk and snow?
So look I know that the time it takes to edit your videos and then post them can be a REAL big pain in the rear but we REALLY appreciate the content you put out. Thanks so much! Keep em coming :)
Hey thanks so much! I was scared you were gonna rip my editing on this one!
Man I want that 67 Buick Sportroof wagon. So much goodness in that yard.
Just looking through these junkyard videos for 1960 buicks and theres a 1960 Buick electra 225! Those things are so rare and it looked really good.
Just nice to get out and look around....wait, I didn't even have to leave the house....thanks👍
Glad you enjoyed it
This was a fun video and you crack me up with your “excitement” over the cars.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Mortske Friday AWESOME !!! Thought I noticed a few 70-71 monte carlo"s would love to restore one that's 454 SS, had a blue 71 in high school with a 327 wasn't SS but still was cool with open headers.
There' wasn't any 70-72 Monte's that I remember.
@@MortskeRepairoh I thought it looked like a yellow one at 3:40 by the scout
@@crbrepairmotorcycles6608 Nope, Cutlass
Lots of nice looking 67-72 stuff!
Those buckets in that scout were mint and it's got the early 70's cloth on them those are awesome
No doubt!
Get the International Scout that would be a Great Build Clean Body on that one
I like the tour.
I saw a lot of hot rods or rat rods. How could you not want to get some of those cars runnin'. I also see a lot of demolition derby
cars.
I like this guys videos
Thanks for watching Dee! Lots of good stuff out there!
Frig yeah love a yard walkthrough! Your enthusiasm for everything, and the king of the hill snippet, just icing on the awesome cake. 🤘
Couple of Bonnevilles, a Parisienne, saw a late 70s Buick LeSabre in there. I need to visit this place. 😜
I love walking old yards like this so many forgotten classics. Great video keep up the hard work 💪.
Thanks 👍
I really like that late 70's Chevy suburban with the roll down rear window. That's a project I've been wanting to get and do for myself!!!
Love yard tours!!! Love me a 1960 Ford. Love me a wagon. Can't get enough of that one year only wagon!!!
Well, now we know where the blazer came from. That Scout is niiiice!
Great video. Unfortunately we don't have junkyards like that around my area (Boston ) anymore, so this video brought back lots of fond memories. Saw so many cars and trucks I liked. But I think the Scout and the Vista Cruisers, were especially cool. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Sure would like to sink my teeth into those Vegas. That brown 75 GT was almost exactly like my first car. Mine sadly wasn't a GT tho. Lol Great video Mortske...thanks for bringing us along for the ride buddy!!
Thanks for coming with!
I like going to scrap yards to see all the things that people no longer find usable. I've found that many of these things can be repaired for little money.
Love the mower blade door latch, LOL!
Brilliant!
Lots of good parts & some really restorable cars too.
Yes indeed!
what a relief to have somebody walk thru a junk yard that knows their shit! got a couple wrong, but mostly right on! unfortunately most, if not all are pretty beat! and I agree about the glass most are missing or broken out
Thanks for watching!
I would have a blast hanging out with you at a junkyard Lol 😃😆🤣😆 I'm just as sarcastic. You had me in stitches 😂😆😆 I hope you do More of this kind of stuff.
Blad you enjoyed it!
19:03 19:23 Hey guys! That's my 60 Buick! Cool! 1960 Buick Electra 225 Riviera. It should have the 401 but, had the 364 in it. But, it turns so, could run. Cool seeing all those 60 Olds/Pontiacs. Great parts cars for sure if nothing else.
Literally as I thought that front end would make a cool wall hanger.........I am coming for a visit ASAP
This place got a lot of gold
That 50s model Chevy and that gray caprice caught my attention instantly
Love these secret stash videos. Wish we had more of this stuff up here. Scrap collectors grabbed all the good stuff.
There's still a few of them around!
Thanks Mortske! I'm jealous that you have access to all of these hidden gems. Loved the tour...thanks again!
My pleasure!
So many g-bodies, cool walk through. Nice 90s two wheel drive truck.
One of my favorite ways to spend a day . A field of dreams .
Same here!
The Ford F100 that guy opened the hood is a 65, the second one was a 66. I have 65 F100. Thanks for the tour.
Thanks for watching!
Man, it would be so cool to just go through and drag all of the 58 Chev wagons into the shop and start combining them!
Always Love The Junkyard Run Mort !!!!
Thomas!!! :) Thnx for educational tour. It looks to me like a forgoten vintage toy store. There are many nice "ladies "...Every with her sad story...Thank you again for this beautiful video..I hope that you have in plan some more tour like this one is...Keep on rollin' ,buddy ...
I'll see if I can dig a few more up!
One of the great cars was a 1969 Buick Wildcat painted white with blue vinyl interior
There’s a lot of cool old metal out there. 👍
the '60 ford wagon is nice. if you have to buy a 4 door and the buick is sold, this one is a winner!
Nice tour ! Love the old gm wagons ! Noticed your Blazer , wonder if it runs lol We had a cat too that followed you everywhere like a dog🐈
Lot's of Good Builders
Those yard cats are great in keeping the critter populations that normally infiltrate old junk cars.
No doubt about that!
You know me! Odd Carr Guy! I like that Scout but the G-wagons do it for me too! That Blue tinted truck cap SCREAMS 1970's. I love it!
That topper tint is the coolest!
Now I know what I sound like going through wrecking yards. Haha love your enthusiasm
So much heavy breathing!
Two great videos Mortske. Lovin the video indents too. Have to admit I hit the like button before even watching. Wandering around abandoned cars with a sandwich in your hand....heaven. I need a mower blade door lock on my ride!
Much appreciated James!
I have to say I was tired n dozed off around mid vid... Don’t worry, I rewatched it and caught back up lol, but when I awoke listening in I sat up rubbing my eyes and smiled! I thought it had finally happened, I had finally gone back to the 70’s and was at an every day junkyard, surrounded by all American classics! So much history to breathe in there, man do I miss those part hunt days. Nowadays in the northeast corner (MA) you just order a used part from a yard, and THEY’LL pull it, OR I have to go out of state to pull my own parts at what seems like one of the last of the “you-pick-n-pull” your own parts yards!
“Set the way back machine Mr Peabody...first stop fall of 1972 please,. I want to grab myself a brand new 73 Nova hatchback off an assembly line!
I need a “do-over!”
Out of my 3 Nova’s (62,73&78) and all the work I put into them, there wasn’t nearly enough playtime.
I know, there never is...😉✌🏼
Thanks for watching JD!
Excellent episode. I was trying to imagine these cars when they were brand new.
Thanks Peter!
I love walking those places! Buy them all and you will have videos for another year!
I already have a years worth!
Somebody needs to save that Vista Cruiser..lol
No wonder I can’t find a G body wagon anywhere, they’re all at that place! 😄 That green Malibu wagon is a really straight car, too bad it’s a firewood shed now. I used to have a 72 4 door Chevelle just like that blue one, thought it might be my old car for a second. 😄👍🏻
I know! That green one is sweet!
@@MortskeRepair
Rescue it!!! 😁👍🏻
I really liked the international scout and the Chevy painted Ford blue bel- air biscayne. Plus the 70 Chevy next to Burt's trans am.
Them older cutlass salon are cool cars and pretty pricey mostly if you got the Ttop one
Dam, You Guy’s Had Me and the Guy’s ” Cracking ” up Dude !!!!
Thanks for watching Kurt!
The Pontiac next to the Deadmobile Van is a '55. Neat yard or collection . I did see a Large '66 Pontiac in there. Looked like a '66 Bonneville. Had the wide taillights.
This is cool and all, but where's Duff? I guess you gotta keep hydrated trudging through all those classics.
Those dogs there and the cat. Things wouldn't go well!
@@MortskeRepair man....id love that 60 Buick
I agree with the late 90s chevy seats,,, I would use them in my house for furniture🤟
The best!
Next can you get that 65 Ferd that blue 64 Chevy maybe try to get your Allis Chalmers running too
Lord I’d go broke there.
me too
That's why its private the owner doesn't want you to go broke lol
@@LarryDeSilva64 lol I seen several I couldn’t have lived with out.
i can hear your wife saying like "don't you dare bring anything home again" and you go like yeah yeah LOL
Never heard a guy go nuts over all kinds and makes of cars and trucks, you would rebuild them all if you had enough time. Great video..Buy a couple let’s get to work..Stay safe..
I'm special they say!
Lots of nice cars and trucks thank for sharing 👍
Thanks for visiting!
That Vega Wagon looked to be in good shape
I like the old Ford pick up, with a fancy grille
OOOhh-that Vega wagon brings back some bad memories-I had the Pontiac Astre version-it quickly became the "Disastre"-oh well, I was so young-miss those days!
Haha great name!
That scout is worth draging out of there for sure !!
It's nice to see all that old iron!
we still have our 95 transport great vans 200.000 miles still looks great 3800 runs like new..
Dust Busters!
Everything was cool! I'd take that 65 Ford truck love those or that AMX two door I know a older guy in my area he's got 3 Nomads not that Crusty been Inside a garage since the 80s one runs and drives. Thank's for the walk around
Right on
Love those Vista roof 59/60 GMs! Really want a 60 Cadillac myself.
Some very fun will it run videos.
No doubt!
That was Fun !!! You should buy one , and fix it and raffle it off ! start with the 58 plymouth
ok lets get down to brass tax .. what would it take to get that lil darlin off your hands ?
Love the channel, just subbed , love the junkyard crawl, keep um coming 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
hey thanks for the sub!!
I had one of them old Pinto station wagons when I was in school and it's name was the love machine. It did 0 to 60 in about a day. and it had a pioneer receiver and speakers, It was a motel on wheels.
Those Sport and Cruiser wagons were the coolest!
It's be nice to see a selection as good as this in our breakers yards, here in the UK. I enjoy watching these sort of postings.
Glad you enjoyed it
@@MortskeRepair certainly did. Some nice rolling iron. Thanks for posting 👍 keep em coming please ☺️
@@MortskeRepair like the wee cat too 👍👍
Looking forward to seeing you work on that 60 wagon!
Very soon!
@@MortskeRepair Outstanding. Please give my regards to Duff.
Love this Tom!
Totally enjoyed it
Lots of great stuff there, good thing I dont live near it.Another great video.....
Ohh yeah I would love to have the 70 /400 Impala not many people realize only Year for that body style and a 2 door Rusty Gold
This cool junk yard
Man in '96 and '97 Chevy with a tonneau cover man that thing was clean I would take that.I got a soft spot for some of them g-bodies like the Buick regal and some of the olds oh and that blue four door 64 Impala. Yeah that would definitely be one to look at I see where you got your Chevy blazers from cool fine
Should check to see if there's an actual 427 under the hood of that truck [would not surprise me]. Also the 54 Pontiac... nice. Buick Special 3 porthole... very nice for hot rod'n :-))
It was a 2 barrel so not a 427.
Awesome 👍👍
That was '53 or '54 Packard....not Hudson
Good catch!
OMG. That is a Damn SHAME All those Sweet Cars and trucks going to hell. Now Im DEPRESSED...LOL...HAHA..Great Video...
Grab that Scott
awesome video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great, thanks.
Excellent video also junk yards specials and you find lots parts Mortskie Repairs lots projects with too! You find my favorite car the Trans Am car and be interesting has 305 or 350 motor ?
Great place
Minty interior on that Scout...nice not to have to mess with that.
If you ever get back over there and if it's still there and if they're any good I really need those aluminum door sill plates of that 4 door 64 Fairlane you showed at the 2:05 mark.
Wow.... those Yeoman's deserve saving ... I've only seen one in Texas ... ever. :o
A lot of em deserve a rebuild
I knew of 2 types of those private yards owned by 2 brothers. One was in Arlington and the other in Galway. The one in Galaway had around 100 tri 5 chevys in all forms, and it also had a 56 2 door Nomad with a 265 V8, A/C, and power steering from the factory. Wish I had gotten that 56. The brothers got into a fight and a judge ordered that both yards be cleared and all cars crushed. Probably had millions worth of rare cars. They had everything from straight eight Pontiac's to 30's Fords with their original flat heads.
That's too bad!
the van with the kicker sub . has ww2 plane runway metal planks. watched tfl channel make rock guards / running boards out of the metal.
Looks like you need a Malibu wagon for the collection
No doubt!
I think you should get that Vega wagon and put that 400 small block you have in it!
I would really like to get that blue 63 64 4door Bel Air. I used to have a green 62 four-door with a 454 in it she had some cancer in the floors and in the rear quarters but i loved her. She was my first car
Sounds like a real hot rod you had!
@@MortskeRepair lol. it was Grandpa's project I inherited. My dad gave it to me win i was 18 and made me sell it when I was 19 because he said boy your going to get in to much trouble or die in this car
Wow I only saw one that I really want bad, can you arrange that man? The scout. I had a 67 Scout two wheel drive only and it was a right hand driver so you know what they used it for? Yep that's right a mail truck. The motor was beyond rebuilding the poor little four cylinder so I pulled the whole K frame out of a 67 Bel Air that was at the shop along with the motor and a 2-speed Powerglide and the four something gears in the rear end of that thing gave me about a 55 mile an hour speed limit but she sure was a badass in the weeds. I would love to have a four-wheel drive. Been Diggin on your videos Man keep them coming.
Sounds like a sweet rig!
@@MortskeRepair yeah she really was I can tell you I had a lot of fun with that old rig and found it sleeping it right in my old neighborhood. Although a friend of mine that worked with me gave me the help to swap everything out from the Bel-Air but it worked beautifully I can tell you that was the toughest little two wheel drive I have ever ridden in, no problem was going through sand mud and definitely up the side of a freaking Hill. That's why I still love all those older Scouts I can just imagine what the four-wheel drive units can do after seeing what the two wheel drive did.
