  • World Class, presented by Mongoose, is a two-part video series that follows professional BMX athletes - Cam Wood and Nikita Ducarroz - on their journeys to represent their respective countries on the world stage.
In the first video, meet USA men's elite pro racer Cam Wood. Go beyond the track to explore how Cam got started in BMX, witness the highs and lows over the past twelve months, and see the mental challenges of being a top-performing athlete. Even as he climbs the ranks to become one of the world's top racers, anything can happen.

Watching you brings back a lot of memories of the good times and the bad times of racing. I’m 40 years old and erased for about 15 years throughout my youth and young adult life. I stopped racing before turning pro. My home track was Sarasota BMX and still is my hometown. After all the years of abused to my body, I’ve had a C-5 C6 neck surgery, a dislocated fractured wrist, and a broken collarbone. I feel the arthritis in the pain all the time. some days are rough, but I have quite a few good ones. Keep moving and keep pushing some of my biggest supporters and the people I looked up to where Alice Bixler Percy Owens, the wild man, Todd lyons. JOHN purse Brian and Alan Foster. And of course, who could ever forget the legend Mario Soto who is one of my friends. I rode for Schwinn Oakley and profile.… good luck at the Olympics! Bring home number one and bring home the gold!!!!
