Good old Juris. Just when I thought I had no idea what to do with a 20cm shallow, I now have some idea. My hero. Why I bought it for a tenner, I have no idea.
Hi Jurijs, another very enjoyable video, nature is amazing, thanks so much for taking the time with this., 👏👍 P.S. I have used moss with mixed results, dries out quickly, needs spraying regularly with rain water or osmosis. Never tap water.
Really like your nano series and would be curious to hear more about where in nature and how you collect moss as well as how to clean them. Was also inspired by SerpaDesign and made a closed jar terrarium now as I have had to work from home. Used locally collected mosses from around Dortmund, but was a bit scared that I would introduce all sorts of living organisms in my terrarium. 1 week in and the moss is doing fine... Keep up the good work!
Hey mate.. fantastic video. Absolutely inspiring. Any update videos or i.ages on this moss scape soon?? Would love to see how it looks and your maintenance schedule. Thanks again
I got the same problem when i work with the moss i colect outside. Its start to get brown. I dont know if i give to much water? Great video ! You are a big inspirasion !
It depends on what kind of moss you find. Many of them will go dormant when you take them away from their micro habitat, they will green up again if you are able to provide the conditions it prefers. To avoid this always take the time to really look around where its growing. Where is it getting its water, just how much water is it getting, does it rely on rains, does it rely on dew, condensation drops, something slowly rotting, look at what it is growing on, a moss that is growing on wood, like fern moss, will not acclimate well on stone, when you pull it up what is the substrate like, is it clay like, sandy, loamy, soft or compact. Also where is it getting its substrate? Is it from tree leaves, dust from a highway, sand from a sandy lot etc. Like wise, if you bring in moss that grows typically in sunnier and drier areas, it will not do well in wet conditions, such as bryum moss your typical silvery green sidewalk moss. Also moss that came from forests typically will not fair well indoors, because they are more delicate. Use "urban mosses" which are the ones that grow locally and around your neighborhood, these ones are more tolerant of common air and water pollutants and contaminants so they are a bit more hardier.
Hey Jurijs, great video. Hardscape was exceptional, but your moss planting is fundamentally flawed. As you now know most mosses need the high humidity of an enclosed space (terrarium) to survive inside. Misting once a day and setting it on a rock is not good enough to keep it alive. I've had better luck mixing aqua soil with cut up long fiber spagnum moss and akadama and water. You mix 1:1:1 into a thick mud consistency, which can be unsightly but moss planted on top of it fares much better as it has superior moisture retaining properties. You can also try underlaying hygrolon or other moisture wicking materials. Good luck!!
i liked this a lot, except when it came to the moss that sat on top of the rocks... the pillows just looked out of place. hopefully it grows down naturally and doesnt stand out as much as a round pillow puff of moss
Jurijs Jutjajevs Thank You, Jurijs with all the craziness going on in the world you inspired me to bring the outside in and it is very tranquil. Thank You for all that you do I’m very inspired, and I have also a few friends that are just in aauuuugghhhh, on all that you create. Keep Creating and Inspiring. Michael🌳🍀☘️🌿🌱🌲🍃💧
Forest moss can't stay alive in my opinion. It needs cold time and seasons. Tryed many times, always failed. I deducted, maybe I am wrong. Let's see for you.
Have you ever tried using terrestrial moss before? Let me know your experience and don't forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE!!

Nice video!
I made a little root with mosses.
Absolutely beautiful, love the pops of color.
Another great work Jurijs, and no I never have tried terrestrial moss, but probably I will do it soon, I am planning to do a small terrarium. Cheers.
I highly recommend to try it out very therapeutic
Nice Moss
You gave me an idea for a project with these nano terrarium scapes. I think I'm going to do a carnivorous plant scape.
I want some carnivorous plants too 😆
Awesome.
Stunning..

Can you place this infront of an east sided window or will 3 hrs of morning sun to few/to much light for the moss?
I think it will work. My window is South facing, but it only receives limited direct light because of surrounding buildings
Great I'll give it a try! Thank you for this inspiration.
Could you provide the linke for the turntable that you place the neoglas air on for the videos?
That is a really interesting moss that I can't find here on the ground.
we have a lot of moss everywhere, I guess its due to our high humidity here
Where can i buy these nano dooa tanks ? They're nowhere in stock
local ADA dealers
I had a type of moss that got black when it was dry-when a sprayed it it got green in 1min
wow, must be a special moss 😜
I think it was Haircap moss or so...
Very nice, where can I order the DOOA Neo Glass ?
link in the description, if you are from outside Europe - try your local ADA dealer

Nice!!!! I have not really tried moss, almost did yesterday but chickened out. I have tried Monty carlo and have failed. So I'm a bit shy now
The tripartita looks like cilantro.
hehe it does :D
To be honest, these videos could be a lot shorter (and 7 adds as well...)
They could, but many people enjoy the long format
