    You might have a high speed spring harmonic that's causing that valve tip and seat shim damage. Switching to a different spring might solve that. Btw, those rockers look like Harland Sharp; I had a set of those for a Cleveland I used to own. They were anodized orange like that.

    Check your retainer to guide clearance with the cam you are going to use. Also spring locators may be suited better for those aluminum heads.

    Why would anyone ruin a perfectly good cutlass by putting a POS ford engine in it
