I fixed mine by replacing batteries finding all grounding cables loosening and retightening them also found some wires on my one box that rubbed through so they were grounding out I fixed the rubbed through wires and no codes and the transmission works
Clear the code!!! 1. Start with the keyn on position but the engine off 2. Turn the key off and on 6 times within 5 seconds. End with the keys on and let it stay on 5 seconds 3. Turn off the key and let it stay 5 mins and turb on it will be fixed

It's the actuator. It has a short or the whole actuator is bad. It happened on my cascadia 2016. The actuator is located under the cab by transmission.
Like that turn the key off and thennput the key back in the on position for 8 seconds then do that about 6 times and that will reset the code that says trans foult or the letter f comes on the geardisplay by doing that it will reset the foult

@@samsam-hc1ks hi Sam, I did it at mechanic and it cost me $1800 but it was waisted money. Turn your key to ON without starting engine, disconnect the battery and leave it off for 15 min, connect it back and it should work fine. This is a computer issue, it freezes just like any old computer. Good luck and let me know if this helped you 👍🏻

I have same problem also code come SPN521485 then tow to freightliner they told me my TCM and shifter assembly completely gone and they replaced those and its cost me $8200 USD also parts have warranty
I drive with this problem more than 6 months if it happened the sign is coming trans chick and the f sign .do the key on position in the off position start on the track driving

Jose Sagastume I had that problem before. It turned out to just be a bad fuse under the hood. Just switch it around with another. Not the small fuses that are numbered it was a relay fuse. Haven’t had that problem since

I was having exact same problems I replaced the shifter knob on the steering wheel and it fixed it

Make sure your batteries are good. Check for air leaks. Those two things can cause problems.

I used to turn off and wait for a little bit and turn back on and helps goes always for months today did went off but came back right away
