Getting nostalgic seeing this video, love the 787. Flew the -9 from Oslo to LA and the -8 from Oakland to Oslo earlier this year. Could sit forever and watch the wing, love the wing flex and the slight bumping of the massive engine. Amazing engineering by Boeing!
i watched all the video and excited me a lot. i work in the aereonautical field in the production of the tail plane just 787 dreamliner, and see all this while Flying in all its splendor is something very rewarding, I shiver throughout the body, because i'm also helping in the costruction of these beautiful Aircraft, Alenia Thanks to my wonderful job thank you, and know thet the plane is the absolute safest
Great coverage of all the passenger related requirements on board. Flew the 787 to Oakland CA last Sept and came back in premium. There is no doubting the reduced altitude effect in the passenger cabin. You feel much better at the end of the flight. Nice to hear that Scottish voice in the flight deck too ;) Great vid - as always
Great flight, great video, I have recently subscribed to your channel and really enjoy your work. Norwegian really puts alot of tech in there planes. Thanks for the footage
Jonathan Stewart Great question. Sometimes these seats sell for Premium Economy prices, sometimes for full fare Business Class fares. The product cannot be compared to Business Class products while it is better than some other Premium Eco products.
Jonathan Stewart I have never been in Norwegian 787 but the seats looks like they are comparable to Business class seats from the early 90'ies. So you get reasonable good and wide seat that has a proper legroom and recline. But you don’t get the luxury of modern day Business class seats and the menu is also quite limited. But as Premium Economy goes it is a quite good product. I myself have been looking at this product for my upcoming trip to Las Vegas and the days I’m traveling I would expect to pay about 1650$ for a return trip. That is quite good if it wasn’t for the fact that I can get a real Business Class ticket for 2000$ on the same days.
Great video. Just the length I like, you can really get a feel of the flight. It seems there is alot more automated messages. It was only the captain or first officer who seemed to have spoken. How is the service in general?
MrWahid1969 Thanks a lot Mr. Wahid, always appreciate your kind comments! The fare was very low and considering this fact the service was within the limits.
A question: This was, according to the title, a "Premium Class" flight.. Then WHY did I see the pax running a credit card, apparently to get a soda, judging from the images on the IFE screen.. I'm considering flying Norwegian from Las Vegas to Stockholm and if they're one of those "nickle/dime" airlines, I may reconsider....
100% you have to pay for everything when you have any contact with Norwegian,Swedish, Swiss people......Norwegian I guess is not exception....Even the water is not free, hheheheh....Regards from Macedonia
Nabil Ma No, nothing is free on any airline. The price of meal etc is just calculated into the overall ticket price on legacy airlines and is not presented indvidually. With Norwegian, you can decide when you purchase wether the flight should include meals, luggage etc or not and your final price will reflect this. You can order food when you purchase your ticket, or you can go all bare and decide not to eat, or bring your own food ( provided it does'nt smell )
+Cta2006 yes when you purchase a ticket on a long haul flight your meal and snacks are included. Idk what kind of airline you travel with when you're going across the globe
Air-Clips.com I agree. All engine noise is good. It just seems GE is quieter than RR. Another thing that I have noticed besides the engine noise of RR engines, is the LOUD sound of the lowering of the flaps on Airbus aircraft vs. Boeing. At least in the RUclips videos I have watched.
***** As far as I know, most of the Trent 1000 variants have higher maximum thrust rating than GEnx variants. Because they have exact same fan diameter, I'm guessing that the Trent 1000's N1 blades spin faster than GEnx's. That can be a factor why the RR seems louder than its counterpart. It can also explain why the Trent 1000 has higher sound pitch at takeoff thrust than GEnx. Loving both engines tho, and I personally prefer Trent 1000's sound as it hasn't lost its sound signature at takeoff thrust.
Remember the last flight with Norweigian....such a beautiful plane. The views were absolutly stunning on this flight!!! Fantastic as always!!!
Mark Zimmerman Thank you for your kinf comments, Mark - also as always!
I once flew with the Norwegian 787-9 from Oslo to Los Angeles. It was beautiful.
Sounds really awesome :)
@@AirClipscomYeah, it was
I love to watch the wing flex.
That's some pretty major wing-flex action going on!
I almost felt that I was on this flight for real. Great Video!

Great vid - as always
Chris Addison Thanks a lot! Oh, I thought it must be a Russian coming through the PA - but now that you mention it he could have been Scottish, too ;)
Not only is he Scottish, he's East coast Scottish :)
Those Roller engines sound nice!
Drew Beck True, massive sound!
Great vid! Love the wing flex.
Thanks for the tips you have shared here.
Awesome video! Would love to try Norwegian Longhaul one day!
Flyspotter19 Thanks a lot! Sure you'll enjoy this one day, good luck!
That wingflex on turbulence tho! Nice vid!
Joan Cuadrat Martin Thanks a lot!
Man, I love these A310's.

I live in Oslo great place
salman1511 And lots of sunlight these days! Nice!
I flew Norwegian from Gatwick to LAX at the end of the summer. Those dimmable windows sure were fun :P
You get that on any 787
So what exactly is the "Premium Class" product on Norwegian? Sure doesn't look like business or first. Is it basically premium economy?
Jonathan Stewart Great question. Sometimes these seats sell for Premium Economy prices, sometimes for full fare Business Class fares. The product cannot be compared to Business Class products while it is better than some other Premium Eco products.

The seats are equal to, or better than on business class, so your comment is meaningless.
That was some bumpy turbulence! I hate flying because of turbulence and have a flight from London to Los Angeles tomorrow! I really hope there's none!

Jegt vil veidig gjerne a fly denne flyselksapet til Oslo for a' besoke en fetter!! :)
Is the tail code LN-LNB?
Perfeito !!
Great Vid.
Mike Growe Thanks, Mike!
Indeed looks like a nice plane, alone it is very strange that the security proceedings like plats while the airplane is in the air.
This is a video of an airplane!
Erika Martin Yes. And this was a comment to a video of an airplane ;)

Is the food that's served free? Or do you have to pay for it?
+CoDWiiPS3Gameplay You have to pay for it like on all airlines
100% you have to pay for everything when you have any contact with Norwegian,Swedish, Swiss people......Norwegian I guess is not exception....Even the water is not free, hheheheh....Regards from Macedonia
+Cta2006 most long haul flights you're provided with at least a meal and free snacks whenever you'd want

does 787 usually goes up to 43000ft high?
Hans Samson I guess so, but will keep an eye on it in future...
its too high
Hans Samson The Dreamliner has a service ceiling of 43000 ft.
Hans Samson Actually not for the B787. The B787 is the only passenger aircraft that can fly that high.
+Hans Westly TG just did a 43000ft from KUL - BKK.
Nice...like...
hello norwegian is so cool in side
Seems like GE engines are quieter than these RR engines.
***** Love the sound of all of them ;)

You do realise this plane had RRs right?
I think the engines are a bit too quiet. I like engines which are not too loud but loud enough.
i guess i heard some turkish att the background! :)
erman erkan ;) possible
Bingo:):)
Bubulis Sirmais Thanks!
Only Like.!
Donald Brown Thanks a lot!
