Hi Todd!!! Well done and cool cassette haul..... and for a great price too, unfortunately down here you don't see this opportunities. I have a VH OU812 also without the inner, bummer, the Ozzy live recording was put together after RR's tragic accident. Hope you can find a good home to those duplicates tapes. cheers and be well
Thanks. It's not very often I see deals like this either. I never see deals for more extreme metal albums. I saw one that had 6 or 7 cassettes and he was asking nearly a $100 for them. Crazy stuff.
Great cassette scores 🤘I might be the odd man out but I prefer Britny Fox over Cinderella by a little bit. Sounds like someone messaged your seller saying he was too cheap the first time, I hate that when that happens. Love/Hate has the most cringe song with Rock Queen but Winger gets close second
Hey that's cool. To each their own. I like both bands. Yeah either somebody messaged him or he did some research himself. Still $1.18 a cassette isn't too bad. I'm not sure I remember that Love/Hate song.
Nice haul, cassette tapes in general are very cheap in the US. I don't get the cringe thing about that Winger song. He is singing in the perspective of a 13/15 years old kid dating an older girl ("Daddy says she's too young but she's old enough for me") well, at least is the way I understood back then. Kip Winger is now 63 years old, so I hope he's not singing that song anymore lol
More common cassettes are generally cheaper here in the states, but trying to buy original metal albums on cassettes is a whole different matter. I've seen people selling them for upwards of $60 depending on what it is. On the subject of Seventeen I always thought it was about an older(early to mid 20's) guy being with a teenager. Maybe I am wrong. I should do some research and see what I can find.
The way you are so blase on cassingles irks me, sorry my not soz! They are more rare than the actual cassette albums! Same goes for CD singles vs the albums they are from!
Whatever. I don't buy physical media with the thought of "this might be worth something." I want to listen to the music the way I listened to it when I was a teenager. I wasn't a fan of cassette singles back then either. You bought an album based on the one song you heard on the radio or saw the video for on MTV and if the rest of the album sucked well you kept listening to it until you liked it or in my case see if somebody wanted to trade.
