      @@JustinsProject Hey Justin, thank you for replying to my mail. My name is Curtis and I have a basic question for you...
      I just purchased a "BESTARC" Plasma Cutter, Pilot Arc BTC500DP 7th Generation 50Amps Screen Display Dual Voltage 110/220V Digital Plasma Cutting Machine.
      Right.
      Also, I've purchased the BLUETTI AC500 and four B300S batteries separately for my mobile shop.
      Question: The BESTARC, set for 120 volts using the BLUETTI, plugged into one of the 20AMP plug outlets keeps short circuiting and shutting down.
      The parameters on the BESTARC Plasma cutter is set for 18 AMPS. It still keeps on shorting the AC500 and the four batteries plugged in parallel and all batteries are 95% charged.
      Shall I purchase another AC500 and a
      AC500 Fusion Box to pair, granting me 240 AC Voltage for the cutter and my welder?
      What am I doing wrong? Please help....
      Curtis, Thank you

    You could use the second set of MC force to hook up your other two panels it has two MPPT controllers

    What works for me is Priority UPS. During the night the battery SOC might dip lower than you want, so you can set it to any value between 0 and 100%, and when it gets that low Grid charging will kick in and hold it there until the sun comes up and the solar panels go to work. It's a great automatic feature for going almost offgrid to cut down on the Power bill. I do have to make some adjustments with the seasons, esp Winter with shorter sunny days and a lower sun angle. I do need to get the batteries to 100% SOC everyday.

    Hello Justin, I enjoyed the video!
    However, I don't understand what I need to fully power my 50a A Class RV. I have the AC 500 & 1 B300s battery. When I plug my 50a power cord, I don't get the power I need (no frig, no microwave, no AC)
    When I use a 30a adapter and plug into the AC500, everything turns on except my air conditioner (the AC fans come on but not the cooling).
    Do you know what I need to plug into 50a plug and get the power I need?

    • @JustinsProject
      @JustinsProject  5 месяцев назад +2

      For 50a output you will need 2x AC500's. I am assuming your AC is 240v. Each AC500 is 120v. When you pair 2 of them you create a 240v system.

    great video! Question for ya. Plan on using this permanently as home backup with transfer switch. Can you leave the solar plugged into it 24/7 or do you have to plug/unplug after charging and so forth? Love to just setup panels outside and leave connected and not have to bother or worry is it charged or not before power outage......appreciate your help.

      I have this system powering my shop (over 2000 sq ft) connected to Solar (24x7). I run two of them since I need 240v back up on the main mini split but it handles this space great.

    Great Video!
    Question for Justin or anyone else that might know?
    Was about to jump on this system until I watched another video.
    I still might but need more info first.
    I saw in another video where they used the Bluetti 30 Amp Fusion Box so they could connect Two AC-500's directly to his 240 Volt Pannel.
    I thought you mentioned in this video that the 50 Amp plug on the Battery could be used for 240 Volts?
    Maybe I mis heard?
    Looking on Bluetti web site, looks like 30 Amp Fusion Box is all that is available?
    I'm trying to put a system together and I’ve been comparing options from different companies.
    My head is starting to hurt.
    Do you know if these AC-500's can output 50 amps while in dual 240-volt mode?
    That is a lot of $$ to buy 2 full systems that limits you to only 30 Amps?
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks for any input.

    • @KZ-1155
      @KZ-1155 3 месяца назад +2

      I aswered my own question...lol
      Just watched your other video that uses the 50 Amp Split-phase output cable.
      Still blows my mind why the other guy in another video chose to go with the 30 Amp Fusion Box,
      Instead of the 50 Amp Split-phase output cable.
      The 50 Amp cable is $200.00 cheaper than the 30 Amp Fusion Box,
      and as Tim Allen would say "More Power!"

    Does this kit have any "bottleneck" issues if grid recharge is on and kit installed like an UPS? Will the kit work in some transit mode for grid energy while battery is out of energy?

    • @JustinsProject
      @JustinsProject  4 месяца назад

      I have not experienced any bottlenecking. Yes, you can control the usage in the setting. I personally have this one setup in a custom time of use. Works perfectly.

    Everyone, buyer beware. I have an AC500 and two B300S batteries from Bluetti. The system has failed in about a year. I'm having all kinds of issues with Bluetti honoring their warranty. I sent in a unit for repair. They said it was working. After email discussions, they said that they were going to send me a replacement unit. They then sent my original unit back. I'm trying to get them some help from them, but they are playing all kinds of games. I watched a video by "The Solar Lab" here on RUclips and they had a unit that failed exactly like mine. I would not recommend this unit. I haven't tried any other units, but the EcoFlow looks a lot better than this AC500.

    Take the PV2 connectors, wrap them together with some electrical tape and forget about them. There's your single cable. If MPPT 1 fails, you can use the other set/mppt. Problem solved.

    Good luck with your Bluetti Promotion.
    Unfortunately, Bluetti, and other companies of the like, have gotten extremely rich at the expense of American customers that they do not provide good customer service to. If any at all. They simply don't care to improve it.

      I get what you mean-it does take up quite a bit of space, but you don’t always stack the parts directly on top of each other. I have them placed on separate shelves, and that’s only possible because the cable is so long 🤷🏼‍♂️. If it had been an angled, smart flat design, I wouldn’t have had that option 🤷🏼‍♂️. It would be great if there was an option to buy an angled cable when needed, instead of just the long cable that’s shown in the video here 🙂.
