Decided to do a synth-wave rendition of one of the best of Chuck's Schuldiner compositions. All rights to the original music composition of Chuck Schuldiner (DEATH).
I'm sure Chuck would be thrilled to know that people are still listening to his music all this time later and even having it transcend genres. This is great.
Wtf is this and why it sounds so good? Which moment of your live did you think "hmm, I should compose Synthwave versions for Death songs"? I'm very confused and happy, this is fucking gold
You should listen to the original too! Its amazing, especially when you know that the acoustic guitar is supposed to be suicidal thoughts, while the electric-your will to fight them
Dude DEATH is THE gateway band for all sorts of genres in metal please check them out, the amount of quality that they put out in such little time. The talent of all members across the years.... Let the metal flow 🤘
@@raksh9 Yeah, the melodic death albums are amazing, check out the album "Symbolic", if you dont listen to metal that much riffs are gonna be mid but the melodies are beautyful.
@@ajhproductions2347 Chuck was truly ahead of his time, a rare gem that transcends generations. His legacy will continue to shine, ensuring he remains an eternal legend.
Really really nicely done. You capture a similar sense of ominous atmosphere that I think makes this era of metal and this era of synth music so compelling. 👏
hey this is amazing. at first i wasn't sure how to take the addition of the drums, but i found myself thumping my armrest in time with the kick almost immediately. you captured the voice very well. please do cosmic sea
@@blaidd66 I guess my fav bands are Testament, Kreator, Pantera and Death. So anything realated to it. Keep the great work, man. Btw, the Painkiller cover is astonishing
Amazing. Never knew this song had the potential to be beautiful in a completely different way like this. Legendary track, thank you for giving it new life like this.
Just dropping the recommendation: Nitelight did synthwave covers for the entire Symbolic album and it's literally so amazing
and Zombie Ritual 👌🏽
So, Chuck was writing Depeche mode songs actually...
Who knows lol
But actually good
Death mode
@@waltuh11121 Depeche Mode has some killer tracks. Policy of Truth is one hell of a vibe
@@guilhermefioresi7538not only that the whole album nay most of their albums "violator" and "songs of faith and devotion" to name those two

You are great! I cannot fathom my life without Death ... I needed to experience it all over again with a different perspective
@@blaidd66Yep. Id love to see a symphony play this songs and some of the other bangers.

Getting John carpenter vibes! This is so cool 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Whoa, this is so cool. Chuck would definitely be proud. Nicely done! Tears in my eyes

Original song is called “voice of the soul” by a band named Death.
@@Cyou478gsochYou can't read and liked your own comment...OOF!
I see an eagle flying. Van Damme is ready to fight
Can't wait until someone makes an 80s B movie edit with it 😅
We need more of this, man. Love it

You should do one of the demos from the 2nd unreleased Control Denied album. I like track 2 best.
This is... remarkable. I've never heard the original Death song, but this arrangement is magical.
You should listen to the original too! Its amazing, especially when you know that the acoustic guitar is supposed to be suicidal thoughts, while the electric-your will to fight them
@@MetalowyChleb I did so right after my first comment, the music is superb. And I didn't know Death made complex melodic music like that, either.

LET THE METAL FLOW!!!!!!! Great Cover!

This kinda reminds me of an old game called Tyrian. Something about this sounds as if it would fit right into that game's OST. Very nicely done
Yes!!! Tyrian!
Amazing game, amazing soundtrack. And you're 100% correct.
I thought of Turican, but definitely golden age of home video game soundtrack feel regardless!
Chuck was so good. nice cover dude.
He’s been gone nearly 22 years now, and his music still stands above everything else.

I wouldn’t have ever thought to translate this to synth music. Sounds great!
Its awesome. I wish Chuck could hear this :(
Believe me, he hears it, and he’s smiling 😎
This this is not a remix, you actually build everything from zero in terms of sound, this is more like an 80s cover. Really cool result result man!!!
