I am sorry but I don't find it very appealing. The only positive thing I can say is that it looks brand new. Apart from that it looks like a social housing suburb from the twentieth century.
Some people find it appealing and like living in such modern spaces. A city like Aarhus should be big enough to accommodate variety,, it's natural. Also the design isn't perfect, but it's still good, I mean it's a city in Scandinavia, which is pretty high up there. Whether you live in the old town or in a high rise, it's still gonna be more sane and pleasant than north American suburbs, 99.9% of cities in China, or whatever is happening in places like Dubai.

I'm sorry, I don't see any scyscrapers. Only lighthouse, which is the highest building in Denmark, can be considered a skyscraper. - And that's only barely, since it almost doesn't meet the height criteria.

The highly decorated buildings of the 1800s were intended for the upper classes and certainly not for the middle classes. Social democracies, like those in Northern Europe, protect the common good of all social classes, unlike what happens in Dubai, Doha, etc...

Expensive but UGLY modern buildings. Modern architecture is just ugly, and it's deffinetely probably true that it is ugly because it is influenced primarily by left wing socialists.

Har boget i Århus hele mit liv, og jeg kan nemt sige det der var før Århus ø var langt dårligere en det der er der nu.
