Hi, after many days of trying to zero my tel. after coming close, when I adjusted it went haywire, I then plumbed and leveled the gun to the best bubble reading, rail across, and breach across, there was a diff about 1/16 -to abt 1/8 so I centered, and then I hung a plumb line at abt ten ft in front and plumbed the Tele hor.. line to that and tightened the scope securely Very happy with myself , before doing anything, I continued to look through the scope and was surprised to see by moving my line of sight either a little left or right , the plumb line was bending away from the crosshair, which meant there was only ONE perfect position to sight through the Tele. After getting the fix, I then zeroed and It ended the greatest target shooting day I've ever had.177 Cal. XL Trail 1500 np Benjamin with Center point 3-9x40 scope ,thought I had a lemon, now I'm on snipers row,😁😇👉👍
Flipping the mounts is not a good idea. The scope is now in effect biased front and back BUT you mounts cups are not. This means when the straps are tightened it puts strain on the scope tube.
