The more of this game I see in more recent versions the more I like the unit designs, both visually and gameplay. They need to sort out that terrain though.
They had one map that was used ins howcase matches and it looked pretty decent. The maps aren't setdressed properly yet but the individual assets already look pretty good imo.
They're actually really really good in the latest build Vs celestials, I hope in the next build celestials get something to help them versus spriggans. In elephant build they were terrible.
Nice to see Infernal employing their Spriggams in response to Atlas Evac. As for Hedgehogs vs Spriggam, given how much hedgehogs already do and how massable they are, I'm actually glad that they don't do that much sustained damage. With their upgrade they get extreme range and decent burst making them pretty good at warding small raiding forces (and with bonus vs heavy a group of them can easily burst down capital ships once those exist). But if someone is making a ton of light fliers I'd rather that the Vanguard be forced to adapt and utilize some of their other anti air options. In this particular case, I think hornets would have excelled as they're great against all fliers but light fliers in particular and with some heavy support on the ground they wouldn't even be that bad vs Gaunts/Hexen
I feel like Vanguard have the best unit composition options. Their units compliment each other pretty well. I am an absolute noob though so what do i know hehe
I generally agree, although Vanguard were also the first faction the developers worked on, so they have had the most time to cook. Some of the tweaks to the infernals in this beta build compared to the previous one have already given them some more options, so I'm sure they will continue to improve.
I've been watching for a couple of months. I'll probably skip this game. Anything this game does, SC2 does better. It's not bad but there's literally nothing new. SC2 mechanics reshuffled.

This game was great to watch, but the real surprise here was Spriggins actually being useful.

I think that was one of the more action packed games we have seen recently, very nice cast.
Fun game. Good back and forth for both players. 👍
👌👌

OK to be fair, it's mixing SC2 with WC3. Still, doesn't excite.
