In the face of his game file corrupting, losing 2 hours worth of footage, scrambling to get new footage, playing the entire game again, running on little sleep, with lots of work, he *still* apologizes for getting the video out late. Mark, we love you. A late video or even a day without uploading a video isn't going to make us hate you. Take some rest, sleep, relax, play with Chica. You don't need to apologize for things that are out of your control. I think I can speak for at least a majority of your fans when I say that no one was upset with you about this and no one will be upset if something similar to this happens again in the future. Seriously. Take care of yourself first. Then give us silly yet scary videos for us to freak out over. (I do realize this is your job. Just remember that you're more important than video games are).

You shouldn't be feeling frustrated and exhausted. If people are giving you a tough time over this, just ignore them. They need to learn that you are a person to and you have to rend to your needs before you tend to ours. Especially since you don't even know who we are! Get some sleep and try to feel better, okay? Dude... It's supposed to be a scary game. Going beond the codes IN GAME is a very good touch and makes it more IRL feeling... It's a part of the game.

Like how many people are going to tell me 'it's supposed to be in the game' like anyone actually said 'wow that's not supposed to be there at all'. Changing something around slightly doesn't mean REMOVE THIS SHIT OH MY GOD PANIC.
The point IS, that if MARK had this SAME ISSUE, it will be a problem for other youtubers who choose to record it and are unaware and have that same issue with videos cutting out. It is VERY possible to maintain that same sense of horror while tweaking something.
Maybe instead of having it cut STRAIGHT to desktop, have it cut to the menu screen instead. Maybe instead of having it cut off the game completely, it drops you to a creepy splash screen.
I'm not saying REMOVE THIS COMPLETELY AND RUIN THE END OF THE GAME. I'm saying "Maybe tweak this a TINY bit while MAINTAINING WHAT YOU WERE TRYING TO DO INITIALLY so that it doesn't corrupt files for other people recording."
Like seriously, just because someone tweaks something in a BETA GAME (so it's not a finished game requiring an entire recode, it's already IN DEVELOPMENT and wouldn't be that much of a big deal to tweak MORE shit) doesn't mean it'll break the ENTIRE concept of the game or even what the developer was trying to achieve.
