    Nyjah Huston has been a force to be reckoned with in the past few years. He's won almost every contest he entered. In fact, he has won so much that some of the contests he enters are now being called "boring" and "predictable" by lots of fans. Here are 5 up and coming skaters who may have a shot at putting an end to Nyjah's dominance and perhaps start an era of their own!

    Gustavo ribeiro for me because he has same level of trick run like nyjah on the sls. And very consistent on his favorite trick Bigger spin front board.

    There's ONLY two monsters that could stop Nyjah Houston. Aurelien Giraud and Chris Joslin. My point of view. Ribeiro and Yuto when inspired could knock the beast down.

      Joslin is a sick skater but he's mainly a gap skater so if the course doesn't fit him it becomes very hard for him to win imo.
      He's one of those guys that can win anytime but I have a hard time seeing him win consistently and stop Nyjah.
      Nyjah is very good or the best at every aspect of skating so he has a shot to win regardless of what the course looks like.
      Combine that with how consistent he is and it's no surprise that he's so dominant.
      Aurelien is like Nyjah in that sense. Good at everything from gaps to transition to rails to technical stuff. He can do it all.

    I get you like Ribeiro, but this video is biased as hell. The only con for Ribeiro you made out was that he only won once and then you adjust that and say that he's also one of the youngest. For Yuto you had two whole paragraphs, totally dismissing that he started at a really young age, too, has consistently won contests and has been ranked #1 and #2 before and after Nyjah repeatedly. I get that you're a fan of Ribeiro, and he definitely is one of the most skilled skaters out there who ride contests, but you need to be objective.

      Affen Party yeah dude. but ribeiro still deserves to be in this list. i think he is ranked #3 in all skateboarding so why not

      I get your point but i think you misunderstood what I meant. I praised Yuto by pointing out he has won 3 SLS events in a row. He's obviously been closer than anyone else on overtaking Nyjah because he has actually been able to win a bunch of big events. But he unfortunately still failed to take the World Champion tittle, so I wouldn't say he has overtaken Nyjah yet. That's realistically Yuto's only con, there's nothing else you can really pick on him for!
      As for Gustavo, at the time this video was uploaded he had only been to 3 SLS events. In these 3 events, he made the finals 2 times and got to the semis in the other. In comparison, Yuto in his first 3 SLS events, also made the finals twice although he had 2 podium finishes and didn't make it past prelims in the other event. So if Gustavo had an identical performance up to that point how could I criticize him for that? He's also 2 years younger than Yuto and became the youngest SLS podium finisher in 9 years ever since Nyjah Huston and Chaz Ortiz. I can't criticize him for at the point having the best results for anyone his age. If the video was done now, I would probably point out that even though he has had good results, he has been to Street League 5 times and still hasn't picked up a win while Yuto managed to get 2 wins within his first 5.
      Any way, thanks for the constructive criticism instead of just calling me an idiot or something! 👍

    • @SkateRaptor
      @SkateRaptor  4 года назад +1

      If you put it that way, what skater has Nyjah not beaten? These guys are all young and have time to get better.
      Guys that are older than Nyjah or are the same age as him have already had a lot of time. If it has not happened yet then it's probably not going to happen. Also plenty of skaters in this list have also beaten Nyjah, Yuto won 3 SLS events back to back.
