Twyman became the first NBA player to average more than 30 points per game in a single season when he averaged 31.2 points per game during the 1959-60 season along with Wilt Chamberlain. He scored a career high 59 points in a game that same season.
Actually, Jack Twyman is named after the Teammate of the year award, because his teammate Maurice Stokes was paralyzed in a basketball accident, and he looked after him the remainder of his life. Jack also was the first person besides Wilt to average over 30 points in a season.
I can't play basketball without hearing this song now! It doesn't matter if I'm playing 2K or real life!! I miss the splash song Smoove you need to do more 2K and FIFA videos!!!
Jack Twyman was pretty good for his time period, he was top 10 in scoring every year in his NBA career and ended with a 19.2 ppg which was very good for late 50's early 60's. Hatin' is not a smooth move.
I've tried it on HOF against the CPU. It's not easy for me. He makes it look easy. Great instincts and timing. He's been playing 2k for quite some time now.
It was arguably harder to make it back then. In the 50's freshmen couldn't even play for there college varsity team let alone jump straight into the NBA.The game was different. workouts where less advanced so it isn't really fair to compare todays players with the players back then because they don't have the same privilages.
Isn't it possible that the caps just increase after each season, it does make the game more realistic that your myplayer isn't a 99 after his rookie season
I went on Wiki to read about that Twyman guy. Twyman became the first NBA player to average more than 30 points per game in a single season when he averaged 31.2 points per game during the 1959-60 season. #godbless
Surely it can't be that hard for 2k to make the ankle breaker actually look a real crossover. The defender isn't event leaning, he just flops on his back after a couple of dribble moves. It looks ridiculous.
Wow, harsh. One of the highest scoring players of his time, averaged over 30 ppg in a season (one of the first to ever do so) and in the hall of fame. All this at a time when players had to have a real job outside of playing the game. Smoove sure sets a high bar to be impressed.
Smoove in the LeBron path to greatness is that your everyone the court it's not like mycareer when you get your own grade and keep track about your stats
Smoove you shouldn't disrespect the dead like that. The guy you're talking about is considered one of the best teammates in history and has made many significant contributions to the game of basketball and to human society. He's in the HOF for a reason!
These 2k games have this cheese that if you're passed but really close to the 3 pt line, your character will sort of warp behind the 3 pt arch automatically when you take the shot so that it becomes a 3 pt shot....weird right??
Disrespectful. Jack Twyman was a good player who averaged 19.9 ppg 6.6 rpg 2.3 apg. He died of Cancer. :(
Ah... Good old pathos
Noah Nicolas JESUS CHRIST bless!!!
@Tamir Hall do you happen to be a fat guy with a neckbeard?
@@hwhaht uh wdym by that
when your casually talking and the music comes on..you know some smoove move is coming up!
1st game as a starter is processing!

Smoove what about a Q&A or something like that? Would be a smoove move.
"Close your eyes girl" lmao
The Splash song made my Monday wayyy better! Luv ya Smoove
I wore 23 for the bulls in 2k11
You gotta keep doing Chris Smoove the PG! It's his signature position and the most fun to watch!
lol...my jersey number is 27...always rock 27 myself, i.e. madden, 2k, fifa, even nhl.. ill play you for the right to wear that number..
It's hard to believe this is HOF because you make it look so easy. Great video! Make it splaaaaash!
Sweet! Can't wait to see you finally starting! That's a smoove move!
I love how Smoove just tells it like it is...no BS..just a real gamer..this aint 2K13 babeeeey!
Actually, Jack Twyman is named after the Teammate of the year award, because his teammate Maurice Stokes was paralyzed in a basketball accident, and he looked after him the remainder of his life.

I always end up laughing when the splash song comes up xD

Gotta love that ending. Let it fly smoove
The gameplay looks awesome, it has improved a lot, i need this game
Smoove said, this Guy with Number 27 isn´t a gold legend, a legend you wanna get in my team.
The splash song is always my favorite part of the videos.
jack twyman averaged 31 ppg a game in a season, and helped a man named maurice stokes, who died on the court getting a concusion, he was very good
The path to greatness mode is actually so fun!
the lebron coast to coast is one man fast break and finisher together. like so chris smoove can see it
4:22 best part of this video 😅.. i get goosebumps
Smoove, in path to greatness u play as the whole team
smoove do path to greatness! the scenarios are ridiculous but its fun lol
That crossover was like a force wave thrown at the defender!
Bro after your rookie year, your caps will raise
The SPLASH song always gets me excited!
I love that song so much it's clean af
Smoove as a Shooting Guard now thats a knew move!
"You ain't Chris Smoove babyyyy!" hahahaaaa XD
You got real good dribble skills king smoove
4:26 it's a two but he still plays the splash song i guess he played it because he broke the defenders ankles
I've tried it on HOF against the CPU. It's not easy for me. He makes it look easy. Great instincts and timing. He's been playing 2k for quite some time now.
smoove do the path to greatness!!!
love the splash music dont ever turn it off
I've been waiting for it to SPLASH!
I noticed I'm like WHAT THE CRAFT SMOOVE YOU AINT A LEGEND BABYYYY!
Lol your splash was a two pointer, but I love you smoove! Amazing

I'm pretty sure Jack Twyman was known more for what he did off the court than what he did on it.
I like how the crowd cheers when you get an ankle breaker now.
That splash song is D' BEST!
that splash beat is raw
Haha "close your eyes girl" that splash was perfect
Ayye smoove regarding your sig. skills: LeBron Coast to Coast is a mix of finisher and one man fastbreak
My First youtube post happy it's goin to Smoove
nice video smoove!!!
Your jersey number is already retired cuz the Kings know Smoove is gonna be an MVP
I've searched Chris smoove so much, every time the first letter is C, his name comes up in purple letters
this the first video ive ever watched of you
Isn't it possible that the caps just increase after each season, it does make the game more realistic that your myplayer isn't a 99 after his rookie season
Hey Smoove, your foot was on the line after that ankle breaker. That ain't a splash baby!
I went on Wiki to read about that Twyman guy. Twyman became the first NBA player to average more than 30 points per game in a single season when he averaged 31.2 points per game during the 1959-60 season. #godbless
Smoove, Twyman is in the Hall of Fame
I played as a SF in 2k13, it is easier to make triple double because you can grab a rebounds, put some points and also throw some assists
3:30 Is it a bullet? Is it a fast bird? No, its Chris Smoove's passes!!
today i found myself singing that splash song. simply amazing.
Surely it can't be that hard for 2k to make the ankle breaker actually look a real crossover. The defender isn't event leaning, he just flops on his back after a couple of dribble moves. It looks ridiculous.
University of Cincinnati player smoove!!!!!! Play that number proudly!!!
Lillard had to bow down to Smoove on that ankle breaker
And SPASH was so nice that I watched it about 20 times :D
He did begin his Mycareer with 10k VC (Preorder bonus), so now that hes got skills in his scoring, its easier to get points
Chris Smoove You Cant Lock In As LeBron On The Path To Greatness Mode
Damn Smoove! You played the splash music on a 2 pointer!
The awkward moment when Smoove thinks it a splash and his foot was on the line
Wow, harsh. One of the highest scoring players of his time, averaged over 30 ppg in a season (one of the first to ever do so) and in the hall of fame. All this at a time when players had to have a real job outside of playing the game. Smoove sure sets a high bar to be impressed.

Smoove, all those angles and replays and u still didn't realise that it's not even a splash. LOL :D
Who misses BO2 or COD from smoove
that beat at the beginning goes cuh!
when the splash music goes out i'm getting soo fucking hyped
I mean only few people knew that player but Smoove has to rspect the team that retired his jersey.
And also respect the dead man.
I prefer the old 2Ks where you actually had to shake someone instead of just mash moves until they fall.
You know something good will happen when you heard the splash music xD
LOL! It happens. The Jazz retired John Stockton's #12, and I'm using it in the game while playing for them.
even though that ankle breaker shot wasnt a 3 it was still a splaaaaaashhhhhh
Jack Twyman was the first NBA player to average more than 30 points per game in a single season.
Just so you know Smoove, the All-Star weekend glitch is back, I got to the All-Star weekend and then it skipped to the Playoffs.
that splash song on my speaker sounded like epic dubstep
finisher and one man fast break were basically combined to make the LeBron skill, no point in having all 3
It doesn't care the number is retired. You can actually wear n°23 with the Bulls if you pick the jersey before the showcase.
I hope y'all realize that 4:30 wasn't a splash. It was still beastly though.
HAHAHA!! "Close your eyes girl!" lmao best youtube commentator in the game right now.
These 2k games have this cheese that if you're passed but really close to the 3 pt line, your character will sort of warp behind the 3 pt arch automatically when you take the shot so that it becomes a 3 pt shot....weird right??
Smoove I love yah but you gotta respect anyone who makes nba as they work their ass off to get there
Did anyone else realise that Smoove's shot where he dropped the noob wasn't actually a 3... His foot was on the line... Noob move smoove!!
Did anyone else notice the crowds reaction when smoove broke that guys ankles
Next gen we need a new splash song. If 2k is going to upgrade then Smoove you got to upgrade. You know that would be a Smoove move. lol
i dont think thats the main point of it, the fact that he did an ankle breaker and then had a wide open shot
I laughed at the question in the press conference because isiah thomas is sitting right beside him
