  • Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, a senior advisor at Lazard who is a former finance minister of Nigeria and a former managing director at the World Bank, was the featured speaker at SIPA's graduation ceremony on May 19, 2016.
    In her primay remarks, entitled “Public Policy, Politics, and Political Economy,” Okonjo-Iweala discussed a series of major challenges facing the world today, including inequality and poverty, climate change, and terrorism.

    I just came across a snippet of this video today which talked about Nigeria's oil subsidy scams. So I came here. It takes moral courage and political strategy to achieve good results in the public space.
