Awesome for a one-person YT studio, when the talent, producer, 1st AC are all the same person. I tire of measuring, guessing, taking test shots, so this would be a big win.
Man... this reminds me of the time I got the F7 and threw away the plastic frame for the sunhood thinking it was part of the packaging. I figured it out a few days later, but by then the trash had been picked up already... LOLOL and you weren't kidding about the "not knowing you need something" this monitor solves such a common problem!!! I'll probably pick it up soon as i have the Hollyland 400s and could definitely use this setup. Great video!
Just started watching. Thank you so much for that thumbnail. I already have that same handle and I love how versatile SmallRig made that unit. Also, have the Nucleus Nano and that SmallRig monitor mount.
Great video. I bought this monitor to see myself when flilming. Now I have to learn what waverforms, peak assist, histograms, pull focus, a reciever and and all the other terms that you mentioned mean. I have a rough idea but I am looking for a video that teaches you not only what this monitor can do but how to do them.
@@priticolours yes, in my opinion latency is acceptable. But I need to add one thing: people are hating on P4K's screen, but I think it's actually really good, in my opinion it displays noticeably better image than F5 Pro. F5 Pro image has a bit of this "cheap video" vibe, and there is something strange going on with sharpening etc.? I mean, it's not BAD, it looks good, but P4K's image is really nice.
Fantastic video! It's crazy how cheap decent monitors have gotten, it's a 1/4 screw hole, looks like there are two pin holes to prevent twisting, do you know what type of pin placement it is? They don't list it on the B&H spec page. Looks like it could be ARRI locating screw but could be slightly different spacing.
I don’t understand why they didn’t make the bottom mounting point more sturdy/rigid / metal?? Cuz you’re indeed going to be hanging a transmitter and a larger battery on the back of this thing, backing the whole package quite heavier than a normal monitor.
Hey, awesome video! You mentioned you can power the transmitter with the Sony battery, but I gotta ask, can you power the transmitter when the DC in is the main power supply? I'd imagine so, but ya never know!
Great vid, straight to the point and well thought out! Question, are there any other monitors where you can attach a wireless receiver like this? I would love to see this on a SmallHD or Atomos, something a bit brighter. Again, thanks for the great vid.
You and me both Alex! I don’t know why more manufacturers aren’t adopting this layout. It’s the only one of its kind (that I know of) but I’d love to see others pick up on what Feelworld is doing here.
Thanks for your video, thumbs up! I'm puzzled about one thing if you might have an answer. My new FeelWorld F5 5.5" 4K monitor has a "volume" control. But I hear no sound coming out of the monitor when I play back a video. I only hear sound coming out from the camcorder external speaker, nothing from the monitor. I made sure to unplug any cables from the camera's mic-in port and headphone-in port, but still no sound coming out of the monitor. This should be a simple no brainer thing. Any clues?
Hi, great video. Does it come with a battery, also whats different between this and FEELWORLD F5 5 inch DSLR On Camera Field Monitor Small Full HD 1920x1080 IPS Video Peaking Focus Assist with 4K HDMI 8.4V DC Input Output Include Tilt Arm which seeme to be an extra £30 on amazon. Cheers
This video was so helpful. I was wondering if anyone on here had recommendations for a dummy battery that I could power from the DC out. I have a Canon Rebel t6i.
How does the delay from the Mars work with focus pulling though, that's my main question. I've genuinely been debating biting the bullet and saving up/getting a 2nd hand Teradek, can you actually pull usable focus with this set up?
The Mars line definitely has higher latency than a Teradek setup. There’s a good reason the Teradek systems cost what they do. For right focus pulling or shots with lots of action, the Teradek will always perform. For basic setups, shots, or interviews, this will work brilliantly.
Considering the budget how how much i hv to pay extra, as after importing all the prices of these products increases manyfolds. According to availability and price, i want your suggestions in choosing between 3 , the Feelworld F6 plus or the F5pro ? Pls help me out 🙏
It honestly depends on your use-case for the monitor. Do you need to shoot outdoors? Do you need to attach accessories to it? If you want to shoot outside, having the highest nit count you can afford is a top priority. If you’re primarily shooting inside/studio environments, having the dummy battery plate on the back is super handy.
Hello, thank you very much for the video, it is a very good configuration, practical and cheap. I have just one question, is the adapter you use to attach the wheel to the handle that comes in the box with the Nucleus Nano or is it the Smallrig Quick Release? I ask because I see that the handle has Arri connection, and the adapters have 1/4 and 3/8 connection. Thank you!!
I've been looking for a way to mount my Nucleus M system with a setup like this (in reference to a 1st AC monitor) but it seems the Nucleus M wasn't made to be mounted to anything. Any thoughts?
I got you dude! To do it for the M, you'll have to get all the name-brand Tilta parts (which is obviously pricier). There are three pieces you'll need: the rosette adapter bhpho.to/3ftfLKD , the FIZ hand unit bhpho.to/2EKp3Fi , and the rosette wooden left handle bhpho.to/2DjPNfz . Those three things fit perfectly together and will give you exactly what you're looking for.
It depends on what you need. The F5 Pro is great for shooters who use wireless transmission systems. The F6 Plus is great for shooters who want to load in custom reference LUTs. They serve different purposes for different shooters.
am just newbie, can you plz say what you mean by wireless transmission system? both f6 plus and f5 pro having the same features. f6 plus has luts compatibility which is add on from f5 pro . f6 seems updated vision of f5 pro . please clear my doubts . thanks bro
Check your cable and cable connection. Every feelworld I’ve ever owned has worked flawlessly. If you do have a bunk monitor, their customer service is dope and should take care of your.

Hey Dan! I did make a video on how to read false color. That’s hands down the best exposure tool you can use!
@@garrettsammons Thanks for the response. I should have checked out your channel before writing. Most appreciated, I'll check it out.
Hope the make a V3 with a better brighter screen soon and I will definitely purchase two
I have the ANDYCINE 4K monitor and it looks and is nearly identical! Really good monitor :)
Great video! Can you use it in vertical mode? 📷
Great video. Does this Monitor control the camera at all, being a touch screen? I am all new to this.
No direct camera control. There are different monitors that can do that. This touch screen is for the monitor tools.
@@garrettsammons thank you so much for that info!!
@@garrettsammons so how do you have the camera screen on at the same time ? as i use auto focus?
That huge latency though... Just bought the F5 Pro, hopefully the latency will be tolerable on pocket 4k via hdmi cable.
any updates?

What's the difference between this and f6 ? I can't seem to find much of comparison in youtube.
The F6 doesn’t have the battery plate on the back, but it does have an SD card slot to load custom luts into it.
delay will be a problem for pulling focus, i mean BIG PROBLEM. but maybe for directors monitor OK
Loved it 🔥
Glad you found it helpful!
How do you nhave the camera back screen on at the same time as the monitor as i use auto focus on the eos r and r6?
Can this take luts ?
Yes.
does this come in 7 inch!!!!!!!!!!
Is it possible to you the toch tracking on my Sony a7s3 with this monitor?
Unfortunately not
whats your setup for the episode ?
GH5S, Metabones Speedbooster XL, Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L II, two Aputure 300Ds with beauty dishes on 45 degree angles. 🤙
The EOS M had a Mini HDMI?! Wow! How times have changed! The much larger R3 comes with a Micro HDMI.🤦♂️
Micro HDMI is the worst port ever made for filmmakers. It’s so unreliable.
