NOTE: As always, please take my pointers and observations with a grain of salt. There is no universal correct way to play Mewtwo. If you look at top Mewtwo players, all of them have radically different playstyles. Zenkai plays different from WaDi, who plays different from Anbil, who plays different from me. This video is not, and should not be interpreted as an end-all guide to playing Mewtwo. Rather, please take my tips and pointers as ground material, and build upon it in your own way.

I imagine NB's routine involves meditating, waking up, then wrecking your shit. You know, Mewtwo stuff.

@@improto I think FantumFrank is another mew2 channel if im spelling his name right. But yeah we don't have that many mew2 channels.
anyway, he made guides on combos, neutral, and even stuff like teleport cancels. there's even the mew2cord that has alot of other information which really helped me out

Great video. I would watch something like this every week (like, comment and whatever else). I think this helps a lot of M2 players not just myself seeing the application of M2’s tools and understanding where to look for them.

I already love this series. You’re amazing at analyzing (the important stuff cause some people get off track easily) while playing which is something not anyone can just do.
i really like this series seeing how you approach each match up. knowing their gameplan and how to work around it
Just what I needed! I've plateaued on the edge of Elite for a long time now, getting game plan stuff and conditioning down I think is what will get me further.
Maybe this isn't useful for everyone, but at my level I'd prefer a post-game analysis kind of video where you go deeper into your choices, because just saying "I'm using more shadow ball" isn't always helpful to people learning! You could explain how you're mixing up and conditioning like you explain how to do in your guides. I know it's Elite Smash analysis, but still ;)

@@bigtoblerone8446 I play against an Incin regularly and can tell you off the top of my head that maintaining solid distance and knowing his side-B's range and staying out of it are both super important, remember that grabs AND confusion remove revenge, and disable can catch his side-b if you see it coming. just try not to let him juggle you bc Mewtwo disadvantage lol. his dtilt can scoop you off ledge so don't wait there too long. abuse the hell out of shadow ball and keep an eye out for revenge and side-b and you should be okay, hope this helps!

Nice come back on cloud I was worried when you were down a stock and took 68 damage but then you killed him and then started cooking his ass and kissed him again to be up a stock on him you have great patiences and are able to read your opponent well and come back
Would love to see you play Pichu and how your mind set is when playing as this character. I have only recently picked up the game and find him enjoyable but also taxing
0:57 dashing under missiles?!?!
I wonder if that's only for turnaround dash, but nonetheless it would be interesting to see how consistent that can be, and if it works vs other projectiles.
I'm not sure if this is possible. But could you do like a controller cam? Or some way to show what buttons your pressing? Your mewtwo games is litterly top tier and strive to play like you.

Ey brother.. good games.. my preference is teams.. how do you feel about Mewtwo in teams ? Both team attack on and off ?
Mewtwo is my main and i my opinion ff off is better because mewtwo needs space which is difficult when your teammate is near you and the other thing is you dont have to worry about your shadowball

I agree, but this is beyond haters being haters. The Smash community has shown me that we are not able to talk about tier lists and matchup charts in a way that is calm and mature. I can say Marth is bottom 10 and get flamed for it before I even have time to explain myself, and sadly that's the norm. So with that in mind, I've already decided I'm not making any more tier lists or matchup charts. I wish I could do them, but I've had way too many negative experiences in the past where it's just not worth my time or energy.
