This is my favourite Beatles song ever, and I think this cover just replaced the original in my heart. How dare you be so great?
He did a good job but I would still take the Beatles' ( Paul McCartney's vocals) over Anthony's. The two main reasons are the overall vocal quality of Paul's voice and the greater contrast that Paul is able to make with his voice. Anthony's voice sounds more nasally to me than Paul's and Anthony sounded almost the same when it came to the gritty parts of the song as he did on the "smooth" singing parts of the song. There just isn't as big a contrast in style as when Paul sings the song. It just makes it stand out more and creates more excitement. I say that as a person who went to vocal school and sang in a band myself. Nobody had more vocal versatility in their prime than Paul McCartney. Yesterday sounds so different than Helter Skelter and I'm Down.
You should definately make more videos like this of you just enjoying yourself singing whatever you feel like, this is brilliant - looking forward to any more that may come in the future.
