Star Wars Battlefront 2 just released a huge update centered around Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. This update included a ton of new Star Wars Battlefront 2 content, including 4 new reinforcements (Sith Trooper, Ovissian Gunner, First Order Jet Trooper, and Caphex Spy) as well as a new map (Ajan Kloss) and new hero skins for Kylo Ren, Rey & Finn. However, many undocumented changes went into the latest Battlefront 2 update, which we’ll be discussing today!

Leaving things out of patch notes is like Dices' signature. The other week they "forgot" to mention in the patch notes the addition of aim assist in Battlefield V on PC.
Aim assist for KM or controller? Cause it always had aim assist for controller on PC.
Going Indie Aim assist for keyboard and mouse, however I may have misread it.
JakeAslan Highly doubt that. I have never seen a game with AA for mouse ever.
Mister K The aim assist settings can be found under advanced gameplay settings in BFV. They are set to 100% by default but can be disabled or modified. There is no mention of controller or game pad in these settings and I have never used one with BFV so I am fairly certain it is not specific to controller. The addition of this is likely connected to Dice increasing the TTK to entice new and more casual players into buying/playing the game.
JakeAslan Aim Assist has always been in every BF title, and it's always controller exclusive. There is no AA on mice.

yeah the co-op AI is totally broken. I think they can always shoot because they can when being pulled, pushed, retributioned (really hurts anakin) and even hit by and lightsaber etc. etc.

I know there's a new season of Clone Wars but I want Original Trilogy brought to Capital Supremacy and Co-Op before we get those.
I think that's gonna happen since I can't remember any new adititions to the originals

We need: Robo Leg Maul, Hooded Maul, Any Palpatine skin, Damaged Vader, Old Obi-Wan, Rey with new Lightsaber, Old Luke, a Qui-Gon in general, Jango Fett, a Mustafar map (maybe even Vader‘s Castle)

Something I DESPERATLEY need is to fix when the AI are able to shoot. When they are flying in the air, they can shoot. We they are lying on the ground, they can shoot. And now, when kylo freezes them, they can still shoot, which just makes the freeze just useless. If you try to freeze and frenzy you get smoked by AI and it just ruins how kylo gets to play in co op
Now we only need Vader skins, Luke skins, Palpatine skins, ANH Obi Wan skin, shadow troopers and bothan spies as infiltrators and R2 and his imperial counterpart as heroes
Then maybe some Mandalorian content

I might be nitpicking, but I’ve hated the “jet troopers” from the get go, they can’t fly, they aren’t jet troopers, they’re jump troopers.
And they aren’t special if ever army has them.

All I know is that it's still bugged AF after the update and my game runs at 0-12 fps at the moment.
AOD Ghostwalker I think they broke the servers. The game lags a lot now. There’s a lot of delay when you try evading.

TheCouncilGaming it’s Xbox. If you try pressing the b button there’s a slight delay. Trust me. I have 43 days on this game. It’s buggy af at the moment.
God damn it, I *Knew* they tweaked existing stuff but I couldn't put my finger on it
CO-OP has an occasional glitch (at least on Xbox One) where if you pick a specific era and faction, after completing a match/round the next one you are put in will place you in the opposite faction with that faction's goal on the map, but the objective tells you to do what the faction you are supposed to be playing as to do. Rather annoying and kind of breaks the game.
I don't find it annoying tbh :p. It's funny. It's happened to me twice that I was alone and I laughed both times :p.

On PC one of my friends got placed on the CIS team even though we were supposed to be playing clones. It was hilarious. Only happened once or twice so far.

There is a weird bug in co-op that used to happen before and still does - sometimes game will change your team, meaning you will be the only First Order trooper and rest of players that were in team with you, well, they're now your enemy. Also let's not talk about the thing that I was Kylo Ren and AI was able to spawn as ...... Kylo Ren LOL
I'm still new to the game and early on I saw that happen to a teammate. At the time I thought "I had no idea you could switch sides'. Hadn't seen it since, so thanks for clearing it up.
This happened to me too! I was so confused. It was 3 of us and one of the "bots" on the other team was an actual player. It was bizarre

Another hidden Easter Egg that I don’t know if you’ve found yet is the hidden time line. The celebration edition design is actually a hidden time line from Dice with Clone Wars in the past, Sequel Trilogy in the present, and Original Trilogy coming next followed my more Sequel Trilogy.
If that’s true than can we get Original trilogy in Co-op? I really want that

@@matteofontana8446 Yes, the helmet order (left to right) is first (past) clones (Prequels), then middle (present day) Sith Trooper (Sequel), then close right (near future) Stormtrooper (Original), and then at the end (decent future (I'd estimate sometime around July)) is first order Stormtroopers (return for bigger Sequel drop). (I don't believe the end of the row is the end of updates it just as far as Dice has a vague plan/idea for.)

I’m not sure if anyone else has already picked it up yet, but the reduced jet-pack recharge time Starcards for the aerial class now applies passively to every aerial that isn’t the First Order Jet trooper. The cards are gone, but their effects are now part of the regular loadout for the aerial class.
Think I dropped around 12 hours playing yesterday.
Granted I had no other task to preform.
DICE needs to fix the damn servers. the game is so super delayed and laggy since the first december update..

Foreall man I thought I was the only one the gameplay is glitchy as fuck recently and alot of times the heroes powers just dont work like vader's choke ,Luke's push ,kylos pull and freeze etc

Umm that Evasion start card for the Ariel class has been there forever. It is not new.
One thing I've noticed is that the dashes have become less janky. Dashing into the air as Yoda, Maul and look doesn't hang as much as it used to. Cool to see.
The gunner has a special animation for melee and arc trooper now takes his scan visor down with his hand
Does anybidy have the coke animation bug with Vader they fall At the ground but the animation is still runing everione else diesen have the bug 😭

First order jump trooper was the weakest though, all other jet troopers have an upgraded version of another gun, the first orders SE didn't even have rapid fire

Hey just wanna point out one glitch I had in coop, happens mostly playing the first order, but sometimes loading in after completing a game, it’ll load me as the resistance and put me on the opposite team of when I loaded in as the first order. And it’ll become like a “3v1” situation and I’ll just be with a few dozen bots. Don’t know if this happened to anyone else but just wanted to throw that out there

We need character specific star cards. I want to be able to set specific cards for characters of the same class. Acquisition is absolutely worthless. Remove it altogether. You dont need it. Passive health on kill for ALL classes.
The jettrooper recharge change is soooo good... Now these little cowards can't constantly fly away as soon as you get in melee range as a hero

Hey Knight, what you said about the sithtrooper, the caphex spy can do a similar thing. When you're sprinting and hit the melee button he will do an extended attack with his melee weapon

Maybe as a card for the specialist to get to better positions, but certainly not for everyone.

The evasion star card may be there but my jet trooper’s ability still refreshes as fast as it did when I had the old card equipped, so it’s not really a nerf
I kinda want Idens melee updated now to how the sith trooper melees, 1. because she kicks a rebel in the campaign and 2. it's a small buff in HvV

I agree. I know the voice of Anakin is the same voice actor from the Clone Wars series, and I doubt they'd be able to get Hayden Christensen to voice it, but still.
9:28 you were %100 correct they were going to add Original Trilogy co-op, i'm pretty sure a couple months ago that is when that added it.
Small correction on the translation - the Aurebesh says "rotating blaster", not "rotating canon". Very interesting video, thanks for pointing out all these things! I look forward to playing tomorrow and checking this out. Love the loth cat marking!
