Chapter 26 Ribhu Gita - plus Ramana Maharshi's Six Key Verses - Advaita Vedanta

- One of Bhagavan Ramana's favourite traditional spiritual works was the Ribhu Gita. The Ribhu Gita forms the sixth section of the Sanskrit work known as Siva Rahasya. It is the teachings of Lord Siva in Mount Kailas to His devotee Ribhu, from whom the Gita derives its name.
Bhagavan Ramana's often referred to the Ribhu Gita in his talks with devotees and seekers, and he is reported to have said that if one repeatedly read Chapter 26 of the Ribhu Gita one could pass spontaneously into Samadhi, or the natural state of Self-realization.

I listen regularly to parts 1 and 2 of Ribhu Gita narrated by SJ. However, the separate presentation of Chapter 26, with the verses from Ramana Maharshi, has a special place. Perfect de-conditioning first thing in the morning before I go to work (in a children's hospital)!
How wonderful
Somnath....
Whatever it is that you do in the children's hospital, may your work and conscious mindful awareness benefit all beings.
Wonderful to know there are people like you among us
Where can i find that audio? Do You have the Full Ribhu Gita? Thanks 💖🌟
@@MaidySarmiento Samaneri has read it out as for chapter 26 you will get it on RUclips
@@MaidySarmiento The full Ribhu Gita is in Sanskrit and has - to my knowledge - only been translated to Tamil. The 3 sections referred to above are from a translation in English of the sections Ramana Maharshi used for his teachings
This is it. No more is needed. Utter perfection.
Marvelous! This Chapter is also known as the Heart of the Ribhu Gita. I was fortunate enough to have a copy of it published under that title long ago.
Abide as that. Beyond beyond.
Vast streams of bejeweled appreciation and bliss to you! I bow humbly to your very nature.

The best thing that happened to me, is that I found you!
The teaching the Ribu Gita (chapter 26) is the preciousness of the teachings of truth after hearing, contemplating and assimilating this teaching all previous teachings stop and the self shines in oneness with all. Thank you to the selfless teachers and everyone who made the recordings and shared it with the world. Keep up the work of revealing truth🎉🎉🎉
Like nectar! Perfect timing! Infinite stillness, stillness, stillness….
"LET GO AND LET BE, always happy!"- Jayasara, admire your precious efforts like always!🌹

Started with Alan Watts now im here
Same!
But who are you running through the marketplace?
Thank you. May all beings be happy and free. 🙏❤️🕊
Thoughtlessness ,be always happy ,mind is a bundle of thoughts and its existance is purely on account of our desires only .There is mind as long as desires are there . Mind is a product of our desires only .NAMASKAR
I am not trying to acquire my true self .Iam that.
Attaining purity of mind by constantly thinking that everything that is known is the supreme being and that supreme being is one self,
And thereafter abiding in the complete identity with that absolute reality, liberation can be attained in the here and now

Thank you ma’am!! I eagerly wait for your videos on Bhagavan. I am not sure if ‘Garland of the Guru’s sayings(Guru vachaka kovai)’ is on your list, if not could you please add it(only if that’s okay). It contains verses that Bhagavan himself has spoken at different times but deep with Spiritual meaning.
Thanks Rahul - I shall seek it out and add it to a growing list!
Samaneri Jayasara Thank you so much, ma’am!!! You are rendering the greatest service possible!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Please upload more of the ribhu gita if possible. Very thankful 🙏

@@SamaneriJayasara thank you. Homage to the one master 🙏
I love your videos. They help me to empty my mind.
Have you emptied your mind and experienced or realized the universal self ?
I want to say perfect but of course this is a concept, so the I that is not am I remains silent, though this too is a concept. Thankyou
🙏🙏🙏
"Neither being nor non-being"
What the h is that supposed to mean?
Non-being is not. However, being IS.
Should 'being' perhaps be translated as 'separate/individual being'?
I am curious, here we have a focus on awareness/ the Self whereas Vipassana focuses on the impermanence of body and mind leading to insight, presumably of the same reality pointed to in the Ribhu Gita. How to reconcile these 2 seemingly contradictory meditation practices and thereby to a deeper insight into the true meaning of “You are That?”
Thank you so much for this !
Dear Qua, thank you for your kind donation to the Viveka Hermitage via paypal. I wanted to send a note of gratitude to your email address but it didn't show on paypal so I am writing it here. With all good wishes and thank you again for your kindness and generosity, Jayasara 🌺
