I have vivid nightmares every bleeding night. I would LOVE to go to nothingness when I went to sleep.
I too have had very vivid experiences...though not nightmares...it helped me in my real life..so to say !

Do your duty and experience life fully without getting attached to the results. Like the wind....use it wisely then let it go. We inhale and exhale but if we hold the breath too long, it can become harmful.
@@sandrad7633 My experience gave me an indication how I shd handle certain situation in my real life. It came at a apt pt of time. So in my view, dreams might give some hint on the real life..we might hv to sit down and meditate to know the answer.
The reasoning that we are conscious while in deep sleep because we might wake up feeling like we slept like a log is absurd. One says that because their sleep wasn’t interrupted and they awoke feeling rested, not that they were conscious during that time. Help!

Mind is the only component of my body which is telling me to appreciate what you are saying and I really appreciate it, but my question is without my mind how can I do it.Please tell if possible

Pranam Maharaj. With due respect and humble submission .....I want to ask one question, one logic I can't able to understand is while we are in deep sleep , the body mind are shut down state...but then there is no experience so how can we claim consciousness exists apart from mind? because coexistence of mind and consciousness is necessary otherwise how can we prove one's existence with out the other?so why not they coexist?only consciousness exists?
just as purusha and prakriti can c exist just like a pair sfparallel st lines

Bt *I am God i.e. the Adi Shankar philosophy is misleading. We won't merge with God/become God, but we are the eternal servants of God. God does have an eternal form with all perfection & glory. God is also formless. He can attain these dual characteristics at the same time. If a mere flower can have colour & aromatic fragrance at the same time, then why the supreme God who created everything with his external potency is supposed to be formless only! The soul is ever pure & the goal of life is to enlighten it through devotion, to remind that we exist because of God only & our only duty is to serve him. Brahma gyanis talk about knowledge only, they reach upto a certain level, they experience a certain level of ecstacy & assume that they've merged with God. According to Shrimad Bgagavatam(topmost puran) & the Bhagawat Gita among all the yogas Bhakti yoga is the best way to attain the mercy of God, to attain his eternal love & bliss.
