Most barrels are more accurate than the finger pulling the trigger. I'd say there are barrels out there that we'll never see the full potential of just because of the human element
@@NoNo_IStay With pistols yes, with rifles not as much. There are barrels that will struggle to print 3-4moa at 100yds, but most good barrels if installed properly should be capable of .75-1.5 depending on the ammunition. Additionally ammunition plays a big roll unlike with 9mm out of a pistol barrel because twist rate is going to manifest itself properly over those 12.5-18". Some barrels seem to be good with a wider variety of weights than others though, I know the BCM 14.5 review that made me gravitate to BCM showed that whether it was 55g or 77g it was capable of staying below 1.5 moa.
I got the rugged radiant 7.62 and the new razor 556, love them both and they have a "flash hider" end cap that you can thread into the end of the suppressor and is amazing for me. Might be worth your attention but up to you hot shot.
KGM Technologies in Arizona dealer here. Glad to see you’re as enthusiastic as we are here about the R556, and you just helped me sell more. Consider a KGM SMG9 review, that’s equally an impressive suppressor.
Got my hands on one, I think it's exactly what I was looking for as my first can. Lightweight, short, almost no gas to the face, and the noise reduction at the ear oh my. I have it on a 14.5 BCM, I am still trying to make sure everything behaves well but I don't like taking it off at this point because of how pleasant it makes the gun to shoot.
Looks rad at night, but it's a bit long for my taste. Ended up going with the FLOW 556K, not cheap but it checked off all the boxes I wanted to be checked off and is very pleasant at the ear.
I’m here in AZ. It’s 108 today and you have a jacket on. I can’t even go outside. I wonder if this was filmed a while back or the heat is just getting to me.
KGM is great stuff. We run their K style can on my SRT team. One of our guys is a rep for them. At first I will say I was a little apprehensive, but the more rounds I put through it the more I’m liking it.
They also cause the barrel to retain heat faster, so your rounds will spread sooner than if unsuppressed. But barrel harmonics is the main reason. Same reason you would want to "free float" a barrel so as little is attached as possible. Watch someone shoot in slow motion and you'll see the gun "whip" up and down. This whipping motion has to be consistent every time (in addition to quality ammo) for an accurate barrel.
Thank you for the comprehensive review. Which one would you take to use: sierra 5 or r556? I know kgm has manufactured a couple of da cans but not sure if they manufacture the sierra 5 or not. I am on the fence between those 2 556 cans.
Looks like pretty heavy gas blowback and poor flash suppression. Why are companies putting so much effort into tuning baffles when they still can't come anywhere close to the performance of flow through cans?
So all the new reviews starting next year will only be available for those that can pay to see them? I think that's a bad move, but only time will tell I guess.

Wow! That Rosco barrel shoots crazy good! I need to find that video. I am seriously impressed with the accuracy of that gun.
Most Nitred barrels are comparable, Noveske and Centurion arms are amazing to. If you plan on shooting over 10k+ a year, go CHF on either.

Honestly, I think discoloration on cans is Awesome. Everyone is unique and shows actual use
Thanks for the Bren2 beta. Been looking for the perfect match!

Any plans to review the griffin dual-lok HRT 556?

KGM said that I could shoot 5.7x28mm with my R556. I'd be interested in seeing how that'd shoot.
Great review. A review of your hellcat would be cool too
Excellent presentation. A year late, but well done.
I'm either getting this or the GP5 all I care about is who has the best suppression
Do you have any merch? I would definitely buy some shirts and hats specially if there flex fit for my big dome
Are you planning on doing a review of the CGS Helios DT or QD TI?
Can you review some Rex Silentium cans?

Hey man Im a new sub and I love you work. Any chance you could look at the AAC ranger line? 5 & 7 . Thanks in advance

As a noob to suppressors why do they shift point of aim? Always enjoy your content
They change the harmonics of the barrel. The barrel actually flexes as you shoot so the weight changes the “wave”.
In addition to what rob said, it’s extra weight at the end of the barrel, pushing it down a smidge
They also cause the barrel to retain heat faster, so your rounds will spread sooner than if unsuppressed. But barrel harmonics is the main reason.
