  • New Breakfast Idea. Unique Recipe made with Raw Rice and Masoor Dal(Red Lentil).
    Masoor dal dosa one of the unique and tasty dosa ever I tried .
    100% guaranteed no smell at all after fermentation. Make batter Runny and Smooth consistency little more watery than regular dosa batter. But don't make thick batter it will not ferment well and also unable to make dosa.
    Please do try and share your feedback.
    Ingredients:
    2 cups Raw Rice(I used sonamasoori)
    1/2 cup asoor dal/Red lentils
    1tsp Methi/fenugreeks
    1/4 cup poha/rice flakes
    Salt to taste
    Water as needed
    Ghee or oil for roasting

      It is a very good company for cast iron products but I find it very heavy!
      I do use cast iron fry pans, one is from lodge but the tava I saw in a store and found it very heavy.
      Although, I am not sure if the same style of tava is being used here .

    For some reason i noticed mine did not ferment as well as your video.
    It was still tasty but i think should have been better if it fermented more. What could be the reason?

      In cool weather it may takes long time to ferment. or Batter become too thick. Please try

    I don't understand the fermentation part. Why is it necessary and is it enough to cover the batter and just leave it there overnight?

    Meddam whenever i add poha to my idli or a dosa batter , batter becomes too moist or a watery and dosa prepares like chapati and idli prepares flattened rather than fluffy.

    • @bhusanur.cooking
      @bhusanur.cooking  Год назад

      May be that happen because your batter is too watery. Next time make little thick batter and ferment it...Add water if needed after making one dosa😍

      Hi ... If dosa batter is not fermented well , it happens . Check your batter is fermented well like foamy . Mix well before keeping. I add poha and sabudana also . I get super soft idly

    Fermented with salt or without

    • @bhusanur.cooking
      @bhusanur.cooking  Год назад

      You can add salt before or after depends on the weather condition.. It is generally recommended to add salt after fermentation. Because salt can slow down the fermentation process by inhibiting the growth of the beneficial bacteria that are responsible for the fermentation. Therefore, if salt is added before fermentation, it can result in a longer fermentation time and an inconsistent texture of the dosa.😊
