That guy you recognised was indeed in an episode of Peep Show. He was the book publisher who ripped-off Mark when he was desperate to get his book, 'Business Secrets of the Pharaohs', published.
Tamer Hassan was the Dad, the South London actor is known mainly for playing heavies, gangsters etc.

It's def of the surreal side of British comedy, but side splittingly hilarious (imo). It also stars a lot of your favourite actors from stuff you've already seen and loved: Karl Theobold (Landlord), Tamsin Greig (Jackie, FND), Mark Heap (Jim, FND), Olivia Coleman (Sophie, Peepshow), Paterson Joseph (Alan, Peepshow).. 1st season is absolute comedy gold! Great shout, Green Wing has loads of actors KB will recognise from other shows. Jim and Jackie from Friday Night Dinner, Sophie and Alan Johnson from Peep Show, and as you say, Landlord from Plebs. It is a bit off the wall, and the camera technique can take some getting used to, but one of my favourite comedies.

That is indeed Tim Downie, who played Mark's (David Mitchell) rogue vanity publisher in an episode of Peepshow. He plays Kit Marlowe opposite Mitchell's William Shakespeare in the brilliant "Upstart Crow", also featuring Harry Enfield as Shakespeare's dad and Mark Heap ("Jim") as Shakespeare's nemesis Robert Greene - one for your reaction list, not many on RUclips yet!
FYI Ramesses ll was an Egyptian Pharaoh, the 3rd ruler of the 19th dynasty.

I cannot fathom the logic of complaining other than they are Incels who object to any guy who managed to get a woman, especially one as stunning as the Queen.

The guy playing Ptolemy is Tamer Hassan, and yes he has played a lot of tough guys.
He's been in films about Football Hooligans - The Football Factory (Leader of the Millwall firm), played gangsters, and was in the TV reboot of Snatch. (Guy Ritchie)
Probably won't surprise you to know he's from London and in preparation for Snatch he took a co-star to meet his relatives, who are reformed former villains.
TLDR; Tamer Hassan, Don't fuck with him.

You don't know how to use an abacus? First row is 1-10 second row is all 10's third row is 100's and so on and so on.
I was thinking that too, I'm older than these two, but we learnt how to use an abacus pretty early on in school just to grasp the concept of base 10.
