- A little tribute to the recently departed Jordan,
aka Pamela Rooke/Jordan Mooney.
From the first Ants John Peel session.
Recorded 23 January 1978. First broadcast 30 January.
The band line-up is ;
Jordan - (Vocals), Adam, Johnny Bivouac (Guitar), plus world's best rhythm section Dave & Andy.

For a bit of context here's a segment from an interview with Jordan by Fear & Loathing Fanzine;
''And you even used to join the band onstage to sing the song ‘Lou’…..''
‘Yes, I did. It was something we’d written together in a pub, on the back of a serviette. I know that’s a bit of a cliché, but it really is true ! It all came about because I went to see a gig by Lou Reed and he was absolutely stoned and useless. The tickets had been really expensive and I’d really been looking forward to seeing him, but my dreams had been completely shattered. So I wrote a very painful song about it. It was very emotional for me !’

The best song Adam made thanks to Jordans vocals. Raw as it should be. She will be sadly missed by all her fans (including me). Rest in peace, Jordan. You were the inspiration for many.
Not so sure about the vocals but yeah, agree with the general sentiment.
Jordan could have been the perfect singer for Adam and the Ants.
Brilliant stuff. Uses the actual unearthed footage really well. If I can make a suggestion for another video. Nietzsche Baby is an unreleased fans’ favourite and there is decent quality sound from the Chelmsford gig out there on RUclips. Shame there isn’t any video footage of Matthew Ashman, but plenty of photos of him with the Ants.
Cheers. Yea it's a real shame there's not more film of the Ants and there doesn't seem to be any at all with Matthew. Such a shame he died so young too.
