    I initially purchased Open Fit Air. Liked them so much bought the Open Fit. Sonically I prefer the Open Fit due to the EQ option but the Open Fit Air is sonically great. The noise impression using the mic is soon on per your review. Your review inspired me to choose my purchases vs. other brands. I need a good quality earbuds for my business. The sound quality is better than my headphones so I use them when learning songs and listening to music. Your review is very good! Really enjoying the Shokz.

    Problem with the touch pad is when your sweat goes to that area while running you have a problem. It will keep pressing because of the liquid touching the touch pad area. Worse if your sweat touches the volume up.

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  6 месяцев назад +1

      With a lot of touch pads, that's definitely a problem. But I personally found both Shokz earbuds were particularly good for unwanted touch detection / working when wet. I remarked on this in a previous video. Others may fair differently though

    • @ErikHuiberts
      @ErikHuiberts 6 месяцев назад

      I've had multiple runs with different pair of these where this behaviour happened. Volume up/down maxing out because of phantom activation. Wondering if this is also a known problem with the non-air OpenFit. I'm really hoping this will/can be fixed with a firmware update, since they're pretty good otherwise.

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  6 месяцев назад +2

      Unfortunately not. These work by open air conduction i.e. the speaker sits just above your ear canal and that's how you hear the sound. So wearing ear plugs would block the sound. They don't use bone conduction

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  6 месяцев назад +5

      These aren't a direct replacement because you'd be going from an in-ear design to an open-ear design. It's very different. Yes, they will leak slightly compared to an in-ear earbud, but the leakage is relatively very low if you are looking for an open one

    Nice review. The difference I heard in mic for phone calls, the openfit air was nowhere near as good. Combine that with EQ, bass, and others and it doesn't seem to me that the discounted price makes the air worthwhile. One question: has anyone commented on either model while wearing glasses?
