I like Earl Spencer, he is so natural, and I love the way he protects Princess Diana, she was a lovely Lady, and sadly missed.

Earl Spencer seems like a really nice man. I know there have been stories that don't support that thought. However, whenever he speaks, he presents as an interesting, decent and kind human being.
He just wrote a book about his own life.

Earl Spencer is his sister’s advocate.He manages to have a beautiful life with his family and he still looks out for Diana boys .He is also a smart man .

Life continues.. like King Charles had a garden party, while it's almost 5 months since Princess of Wales wasn't able to resume royal duties. Earl Spencer has always been supportive of his sisters, and he might have good reason for not letting her live on his estate .Probably because they are almost staying within the same surrounding areas with the Royal Family,and they are also nobility, and his sister was probably still married to Prince Charles .However, Earl Spencer has been there with his family and siblings at his sister's memorial and funeral, which he ensured that she was buried at the Spencer Estate .He was also there with his nephews, Prince William and Prince Harry, for the unveiling of the statue of his late sister. He always supports his nephews .Some people like you never see the good in others will also want to find fault where there is none. I bet you are an angel, but we all know that no one is perfect. As much as we strive for perfection as humans, we have sometimes been found wanting, and that doesn't give anyone to point a finger without having facts .

Each time I see Earl Spencer, I find him endearingly honest and extremely vulnerable and that’s from someone that wasn’t a fan, life it seems has weathered him well and given him the human touch something his sister Diana had in bucket fulls

I admire and respect Earl Spencer and think he is a really good man. He is very knowledgable and has a great sense of humour. If you haven't already listened to the podcast, The Rabbit Hole Detectives with Charles, Richard Coles and Cat Jarman, I thoroughly recommend it.
He is such a well formed gentelman. Its so nice to listen to him. We loved the stories , he is telling. And, we respect so much his ancestors stories from the very aristrocrats families from England , part of the History of the world. I remember his father said he was very honoured Princess Diana was going to serve their Queen, when she married prince Charles, long ago. Earl Spencer, Besides, and with all respect, he remains us our beloved Lady Diana, because of some body language. 😥 . We wish the best for him and his family.

Charles Spencer genuinely loves his sister Diana, and certainly cherishes her memory to
this day. He was strong during her funeral, and he spoke his mind. I was very happy that he did so. He and Diana grew up together, and it seems that they were very close. No one can begin to imagine what it felt like walking behind Diana's casket, on the day of her funeral. What that did to her young son's, will affect them throughout the rest of their lives. I have a special place in my heart, and in my mind for Harry. I've asked God to protect Harry, and his own family. I continue to ask God, to bless and protect them from this day forward. They need privacy, in order to raise their children properly. Please give them the respect they deserve.

I thought that Princess Diana was too good for Charles, she had her heart in the right place, and was very caring, and the people truly loved her. Even now her legacy lives on, Prince William is well loved too with his beautiful family. Diana will always be the peoples Princess and her memory will live on through William.
Earl Spencer I respect for standing up to the RF in such a bold way at Diana’s funeral. He was lied to about his nephews being used for photographs in the funeral procession. He and his family have not stopped being Harry’s family no matter what anyone said.

For me it's exciting to know that there are people (like myself) who are fascinated with ancient and medieval history as well as modern history. It would be a shame if ancient and medieval history got religated to the dust bin as being irrelevant in a world that is enamored with technology to the exclusion of all else. Thank you for this interview with Earl Spencer. I knew he had some interest in history, but I thought it only focused on that which pertained to his family. Now, I know that he is deeply interested and an author, also. I'll have to look into this book and any of his other writings. Thank you again for the good news. 😊

I cannot forget Charles Spencer DENIED Princess Diana returning to Althorp to live there after the divorce. SHE was VERY VULNERABLE and NEEDED HELP. Quietly resting, sleeping to get a grip on what happened (especially after surrendering her sons to half-custody). Just being with her family for the time she needed, she would have benefitted from that get-away from her sad surroundings and it might have helped her get better, improved and cleared her mind. But No. Charles did NOT think of his sister’s welfare. Was that love? Or arrogance?

Of course Charles Spencer had such a marvelous marriage with Victoria - it seems that virtually everything Diana accused Windsor of supposedly doing during her marriage her brother did to his young wife. Sitting in the bath, just after Victoria came home from hospital telling her he had 12 'relationships' while she was away from home. And she wasn't to consider going to Diana's funeral - he had already promised to take his latest squeeze - which went down really well at St Paul's. Imagine being told what a terrible husband/family you are when he made such a mess of his own life - then having to accompany Diana on her last journey with Charles Spencer & his 'squeeze'. Emigrating to South Africa to avoid the British press was a really good idea until he found out that in SA divorces are not heard in a closed court - it wasn't just the hated British press who reported as to what an appalling husband he was

It's a brother that loves the sister and protector I have a kind of brother. I understand him and I love the way that he tried to be supportive with. He's nephew's. It's wonderful nothing bad to say about him. He seems very educated anacknowledgeable through the history of his family and the Royals. I don't remember.

Interestingly enough, he thinks Princess Charlotte looks like Diana. Charlotte is very pretty. His sister, Diana was plain looking as a little girl, and as an adult, albeit her looks were enhanced by tons of makeup.

The Spencers have always tried to be supportive of Diana’s sons, even though William did not return their efforts to reach out. Harry did and he is very close to them. I don’t blame him for not talking to much about Lillibet, mainly because he was there for something else and the host tried to sneak that in. Both of his sisters flew to California for Lillibet’s christening. They support in their own quiet way, not looking for fanfare.

Charles wasn't a very nice brother to Diana. She wanted to come visit her old home, Althorp, that Charles Spencer has inherited in August 1997. He said "No." He did not want to deal with the paparazzi that she would bring.
Diana, Princess of Wales, had no plans, so she accepted an invitation from Dock Al-Fayed to cruise and then go on to Paris. Well, we all know the rest is history. I cannot imagine the guilt that Charles Spencer could have felt.
Hence the incredible eulogy at her funeral. (Absolutely stunning speech... Can still bring tears to my eyes.)
