Feeling very proud of Prince Edward and Sophie, they are taking on the role of supporting the Queen in what's been a very difficult year for her.

He's much more relaxed than he used to be and not being in the immediate line of Succession, he can relax a bit more. That's not to say he isn't a hard worker, but he is able to focus on the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme his Father set up and which he has now taken on. Sophie is lovely too.

So nice to hear Prince Edward speak. I've always felt an affinity for him because we're the same age and our oldest sibling is much older than we are. I'm glad he's playing a larger role in "The Firm" these days.

Interesting that Edward asked for clarification of which family rift. He knows about his brother...

I like prince Edward and Sophie, they stay private and out of the press.
Sophie and her daughter have been helping out at food banks every week since before the pandemic. She is well known there, but she doesnt publicise it. Not sure whats been happening this last year but wouldnt be surprised to hear that she carried on, under all restrictions. She does a lot of charity work but doesnt get photographers to follow her around. Her view as she said once in a documentary was that people in need or are struggling do not want exposure to the world. So does not brief press, unlike others that we know.

The only thing we ever hear about Edward is his dreadful faux pas with the Royal It’s a Knockout. Well it’s taken a long time but he has definitely redeemed himself with this lovely interview.
